Lovely staff, spectacularly lovely

First night couldn't sleep at all, facilities are old and in the room Marriott standard scan was not there. Just old not tidy and dusty ...it seems like empty for a while.(they already told me fully book, at this point I do not understand, I have sent an email told I will be late check in...) However, appreciatively some reaction from the best staff _ changed the room and gave me smiles.

Location is perfect Near the markets and nearby lots of good restaurants and great massage places (really nice prices) facilities are old but great staff. They are all open ears. Thank you I have enjoyed it your hospitality in the end. If I come back to KK. I will come back to you.

Room was facing the afternoon sun so it was a bit warm, the AC was a bit weak.

Free parking, good staff, room was huge with a nice view. Buffet dinner and breakfast was good. Hotel location opposite market and in the middle of town. Check in and out was smooth

The house keeping may need improvement. Only the washroom is cleaned every day. The beds were not made. Once the towels that have been used were left at the corner and not taken away.

The room is large and has a good view of the sea. The attendants at the dining hall are very friendly and provide good service. We are welcomed and guided to a table, and asked if we need any drinks.

Food could be improved. It was good but not the best.

Everything is perfect! From the very start, staff are super accomodating to my request. She even helped me with my marriott bonvoy account. Locationwise, couldnt be better. Very near to the markets, servay supermarkets are within walking distance.

Great position and walking distance for all the ferries to the islands and the harbour side for watching the sunset and restaurants and bars. Great for the night market and had fun trying all the fish

The hotel was very good but the location opposite the fish market was not so good.

Last minute booking after first hotel was a sham. They were amazing, we signed up for bonvoy rewards and they upgraded us! So comfortable and the sunset, drinks and food from club room was amazing. We didn't go out on the second night because of a big cycling day and it was perfect

Ordered food and drinks at the Rooftop Bar , took a long time to have the food ready.

The view ! Over looking the fishing boats , beautiful sea and sunset. Room was spacious and comfortable. Cocktails at the bar were good, sunset views with the planes flying through was beautiful. Staff were polite.

Outside it smells of fish because there is a market in front of the hotel. The interiors are very outdated for a 5 star hotel.

Nice room and location. They also have a nice rooftop bar to see the sunset. The nightlife water front area is 2 min walking from the hotel.

We could have done without the 5:00 am unscheduled wake-up calls from the local mosque.

The hotel facilities were very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The hotel is located at the waterfront and convenient to restaurants and shopping.

The room rate is not value for money. Needs refurbished especially in the bathroom. Old fashioned refrigerator and it leaks. Cleanliness needs to be improved.

Great location in the heart of Kota Kinabalu. The Meridian Club was great with breakfast provided and a 2 hour window for inclusive drinks/ cocktails with snacks that were sufficient for a meal. Pool and gym also great.
