View is great, very quiet. Place is clean. There is AC is all rooms and hot water in all bathrooms.

The lounge furniture was inadequate and what was provided was not particularly comfortable. The kitchen had many old utensils and numerous odd plates and bowls. There was no lighter or matches for the gas stove. There were many dirty dishes on arrival and no drinking glasses. The bedside lamps did not have the correct electrical plugs and thus could not be used.

The rural setting was very nice and the bedrooms were spacious.

The house is unfortunately filthy and needs a deep clean. The bedding and towels are worn out. There is no necessities like salt, oil, handsoap or toilet paper. They dump the rubbish onto a pile on the property. The property has massive potential with a bit of extra care.

We loved the privacy and space for the children to run around and explore the outside. We enjoyed the bbq area. It is a peaceful space to enjoy nature.

The water pump

we didn't realise it was a one and only villa by itself. It was shown as last villa available for Mandara Trees on booking.com, so we were expecting to see more villas in the same compound. At first we were worried about the security as it was a stand-alone villa, and there was no entrance gate, but we found it quite safe there. The layout of the villa is good with 2 bedrooms with 2 attached bathrooms. Shower is good, and bathroom is quite clean, except the water pump is so loud making noises every other minutes made it difficult to sleep in one of the rooms. All the utensils, stove, microwave and water dispenser were there. The best thing to us was the Coway water dispenser, super convenient. We didn't use any cooking facilities as we dined out every meal. ACs worked fine, one fan is not working, and 2 of the head lamps by the bed not working, however, ceiling lights all worked fine. Location is quite good also pretty close to Bukit Tinggi and Pinto Cafe and Pineyard Cafe.

The kitchen could have had some glasses, and enough cups for the number of guests it accommodates. Also, perhaps a strainer / sieve and a saucepan would be good. Other than that it was great.

The road leading to the villa could have been wider as it is narrow (1 lane in and out). Though road is tarred and good driving condition. Only worried was security as surrounded by trees and bushes. Sporadic kampong houses as neighbors. Cleaner leaves nearby (neighboring lot). The villa only has 3 buildings. Our unit where we stay. I adjacent smaller bungalow (half of our size) is abandoned and locked up. Nearer to entrance, there is one small building which is the store room (locked) with 1 dilapilated toilet where door broken and left opened. Was quite stingy on mineral water. We have 5 pax and gave us 2x1.5L bottles. Requested for extra 3 for 1 each. Next day cleaner says need to pay RM2 for the extra 3 bottles as requested by Villa owner! Otherwise will deduct from her cleaning wages.

The ambience and surrounding in Kampong setting is refreshing and closed to nature. Quiet and serene. Except that didnt know it was just a small Bungalow unit (2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each room ie 1 king/queen + 1 single bed with 1 living cum dining cum kitchen). Thought it has several units within the villa.

The maintenance need to be improved asap before more feedback received and ratings go down. Basic stuff: 1. Sink tap broken. 2. Fan had loud cranking sound 3. Airconds were faulty, which was a bummer since its a super hot season 4. The potty was not cleaned properly. There were massive icky stuff under the seat. We had to remove it ourselves (yuck!) 5. Carpets and footmats were dirty 6. The water pump made loud noise whenever someone uses the toilet 7. Bidet head missing

Pretty cozy chalet. Love the ala balinese bathroom setup thats open air. That was our most favourite room! Lol The garden area is so huge that the kids could run around. We even did some family games outside. Location was ideal too since there's so many good eats within 5 mins drive radius. Would be nicer once the pool is ready! 😊

Very comfy and nice environment. Whole unit belongs to us. The toilet design is superb! Looks like Balinese design and we almost thought we are in overseas. Spacious outdoor with BBQ pit. Overall, it's a good experience!

i would prefer if there's a gate at the front door. as it quite secluded, for a safety purposes. but we are safe as the caretaker respond promptly to everything we asked for. other than that, there are some area in the villa alil bit dusty but its okay and understandable. maybe need to provide some table cloth as well.

The location was kinda secluded from other area. its quite nice for a reunion place as we talk and play and u can be loud as no other house is nearby. the villa is really big. and the bedroom is spacious, they provided 6 towels. it can fit maybe up to 10 ppl but need to bring toto. the shower is rain shower semi outdoor. the kitchen is provided with stove, cups, plates, microwave, oven, coway water, knifes, cutting board, pots, rice cooker, and fridge. the villa also provided with wifi. outdoor there are space for bbq and the lawn is quite big to hang out.

the living area need more single seat sofas. there were no one when we arrived . luckily we found the keys to the villa under the door mat. I called the contact number reflected on the villa page but no one answered. this should be sorted out.
