Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

My wife’s favourite thing about the hotel was the hair salon: Hair Culture. Her words: “Just to visit Jessica’ salon would be worth going to KL. She gave me a head massage that was as relaxing as a full body massage… Her technique and knowledge was really impressive; I am absolutely in love with my colour and new haircut”

The swimming pool, the location and breakfast. The check in was extremely easy, Ilia was waiting for us at reception and we did the check in directly inside our big appartement room. But need to highlight the fact that the hotel prepared a birthday cake for my daughter brought it to the room sing happy birthday and took and print out a picture that was handover to us later in the day. Thanks again for this to Ilia and Chloe. Really appreciated and thanks for your smile and kindness. Fantastic 5stars service.

United KingdomThe property is starting to look tired and dated. The rooms/bathrooms have not changed in 20 years and given the scale of construction work in KL and all the new hotels…this needs attention. The staff at the pool restaurant were not particularly attentive…after waiting 15 minutes, I went and got my own menu. After another 10 minutes, I flagged down a waiter to take my order. After another 10 minutes, I noticed my drink sat on the bar…I waited a few minutes before going to get it myself. This is poor service. I would also like to note, that the quality and taste of the food was mediocre at best. The uniforms of the staff at the pool restaurant were grubby and the makeshift steps to the various seating areas were shabby.
I have visited this hotel several times over the last 20 years and the location is excellent. The price is also pretty competitive especially for the Mandarin brand.

The location is superb, right next to KLCC with stunning views of the Petronas Twin Towers. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are impeccably clean.
