The AC was incredibly cold and I stubbed my toe several times getting in and out of the bathroom as there is big lip.

The staff are apsoloutley incredible! We where allowed a early check in hours prior to check In we didn't even ask as we presumed we would just need to leave our bags. The rooms is a little dated and rough round the edges but for the price is perfect. It's located short walk from a great indian restaurant and a shopping mall so everything within walking distance.

We stayed here twice. We had no issues with our first room. This time, we felt a really strong smell from the shower drain. It happened in the middle of the night, and we had to use towels to block it. Im not sure if this was a temporary issue or if this is happening in that room often. Unfortunately, i forgot to mention that to the staff in the morning. Everything else was absolutely fine.

Our unit was against the alleyway so sometimes it was noisy from disruptions there.

This place is great value, the building seems nicer than others in the area. Although it’s a budget accommodation, the hotel itself is well maintained. The AC is one of the best, very quiet and thermostat works well.

Bathroom could do with some work, shower curtain doesn’t cover the whole way across so bathroom gets flooded, bathroom tap very loose almost coming off. Also smell of damp when entering the room so we opened the windows.

Good location in the city centre, shops and restaurants on your doorstep. Further from airport and conservation centres but easy via Grab. Good aircon and wifi, comfortable bed, large room.

As not everyone drinks coffee with milk and sugar, I recommend the hosts to provide tea bags and normal instant coffee.

The location right opposite the Central Market was ideal. We had a large room with an impressive sea view. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. Excellent value.

My room was pretty run-down; it could use some redecorating, especially the walls. Otherwise clean and tidy, exceeding expectations considering the price.

I had my best sleep in Sandakan here, the bed was great- firm but not hard- loved it. The view is lovely and the location of this place is great- although in the middle of a busy area, the rooms are quiet and relaxing.

Despite them having multiple networks, we had really bad wifi in our room and could barely use it. Staff did not have up to date information on buses around the area and could only recommend Grab.

Located right in front of local market with fresh food. At night, a lot of cafes working near it. The hotel is a bit old, but decent. The room had everything we need and the stuff was cleaning it daily. Both administrators were very attentive and helpful
