The hotel is huge and in some areas is little tired looking, with stained carpets and some upgrades needed.

A convenient hotel for staying near the airport before our flight. A unique building design. Great buffet breakfast, with so much choice. And we were able to use the free hotel shuttle service to the airport which was really convenient. Also enjoyed a lovely soak in the bath!

Unfortunately I booked the wrong dates for my stay and I booked a nonrefundable room. With the excellent communication from the hotel they let me rebook my dates. Already this hotel has 5stars from us.

It's a great hotel if you want to stay close to the airport. The room is spacious, the pool is lovely, and the breakfast was good.

The lighting and AC controls in our room did not work and the fan was extremely loud all night. It spoiled our stay as the room was very comfortable with lovely comfy bed and bedding.

Great breakfast and restaurant food. The downside of the breakfast was the loud rattling of the fans in the dining room

Free shuttle bus schedule not enough

- I reserved shuttle service 2 weeks ahead of arrival. Despite that, there was no one shown up at KLIA1 and also no response when I attempted contacting the hotel concierge via WhatsApp (as advised when I made the booking). I was waiting at the designated spot for more than an hour then took a cab at 23:30. This experience was honestly annoying and exhausting after a 19-hour flight journey. I informed receptionist, however, no clarification nor explaination given. - Bed sheet, duvet cover and pillows does not smell pleasantly but musty.

- The breakfast buffet has a wide selections of savory foods, fruits, desserts, and drinks, real 5-star quality. - Spacious room with sofa and great view. - Bathroom is equipped with both bathtub and shower, toilet separated by a matte glass. - The waitress (with glasses, working on 14th May evening shift @Temasya) was very attentive.

The changing room (beside the pool) doesn't have water, could it be because we went in near to its closing time (6.45 pm)?

Separate swimming pool for ladies, 10 minutes drive to the airport. It suits to our early morning flight schedule.

When booking, there is no prominent information to say that alcohol is not available in the hotel. Given that alcohol is legal in the area and that chain hotels in and around KL generally serve alcohol, it Is a reasonable assumption to assume that this hotel will. It is possible, with some digging, to find the no alcohol policy, bit it is not obvious. Therefore, while maybe not actually dishonest, Movenpick are being very disingenuous by not being up front about this. Booking.com should also be clear about the situation. There's nothing wrong otherwise with the hotel and not having alcohol available was no problem, but I want to know in advance so I can make choices accordingly.

Only slight negative was the free airport shuttle only runs every 2 hrs so if you may end up waiting ages for the next one or having to pay for a taxi there.

The staff at this hotel were fabulous, facilities great too! We were tossing up between staying by the airport or going into KL for the night and couldn’t be happier we chose the Moevenpick airport in the end. Wonderful stay!

The free shuttle bus to the airport does not run very regularly (we had to take a taxi as there was no shuttle bus to take us to the airport on time for our flight)

No mention in ad that there is no bar. This is very unusual even in a much stricter country than Malaysia. Taxi ordered and paid for at check in for 7.30 had not been ordered and traffic meant none were available for some time.. the bus driver,Seven, took us in the bus to make sure we made our flight. He deserves many thanks. The concierge had no English and had little idea about the hotel food available. As it was Ramadan the hotel offered a fairly expensive buffet, with an offer of 30% senior reduction but the people at the pay desk had no idea of this and after checking with their manager couldn't work out the new cost. Air conditioner in the room was very noisy and the thermostat not working properly, it was either off or very cold.

We got the breakfast box to take away - it wasn’t the best but helped get us on our way. May be better off getting some food at the airport

The airport was super close and the hotel had a lovely pool, restaurant, spa and a little takeaway store everything you could need. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable with a free cake and lovely decorated bed for our honeymoon
