The property itself was rather old and needed a bit of refurbishing.

The staff there were warm, responsive and made us feel at home. The tours were easy to organise and very enjoyable. The garden was very well kept and the walk to the chalets was pleasant.

The hotel should take more care to keep the rooms clean and they need to do some renovations in the chalets. I asked the evening before check out if they can help me with my luggage and pick it up at 7 AM, what the reception confirmed. The breakfast and the reception were supposed to start at 7 AM. No one came and I had to carry my luggage through the hugh resort and the reception was not open till 7.45 AM when I left the hotel. I also had to walk down the steep staircase to the jetty what was horrible… so I was really disappointed when I left.

The food in the evening was very disappointing. Not much choice and on second day very bland. We were most disappointed with lack of animals and birds around the jungle we had access too. I have never been anywhere with so few birds. There were a few monkeys hanging around the restaurant area and a couple of squirrels on the gardens but that was it. A but worrying really.

The grounds were beautiful and the cabin was good but a little dark. We were right on the edge of the jungle. Staff were friendly and it was easy to arrange tours.

My Chalet 49 was kind of dirty, water from tap was brownish, lights were too dim, and aircond not cold.

Friendly & helpful staffs, good location & serene environment.

There’s not much to dislike! it is a tad on the rustic side, but we were prepared for that. I feel the price is a tad high, too! we booked a boat trip to Lata Berkoh for one afternoon. We were told it was kid friendly, but beware - it’s not for inexperienced swimmers!

The resort is magical - truly in the middle of the rainforest. Over the 2 days, we saw monkeys, beautiful birds and tree snakes! The cabin fit our family of 4 (including toddler and 9 yo) well, and the beds were reasonably comfortable. The staff are very accommodating, and the food is decent.

The yellow and dim light in the chalet. Wish there are brighter lights in the chalet too, not only in the toilet.

We came from Jetty Kuala Tahan, where Mutiara Taman Negara is just across the Sg Tembeling. We need to take a boat for less than 5 minutes, and the fare is just RM1 per pax. There are high stair case we need to take, took my mom more than 15 minutes to reach the lobby (but there are place to rest in between the stairs). The chalet is spacious, clean and comfortable, but I don't really like the yellow, dim light in the chalet. Luckily the toilet has bright light! The breakfast and dinner were included in my package, and the foods were really tasty with moderate variety of buffet spread. We get our lunch at the same restaurant, and the ikan patin dish was so yummy! The Resort Manager, Lex, and other staffs - Patrick, Zakim, Sofi, and all the staffs at the office - they are so friendly and courteous. The activities we joined (hiking, rapid shooting and visit to aboriginal place) was enjoyable and really good. We wish we have more time to join other activities as well! Will definitely come back soon!!

Landline phone in the room was not working, so when we wanted to request for buggy service for our luggages, we had to walk to the reception area. Also, we saw that there's a safe box provided in the room, but it's no longer working as well.

The whole environment, natural surrounding around the chalet, the well-kept landscape.

As a nature lover I would appreciate more awareness about plastic use and waste, even in native's villages we visited. Guided tours are nice at least but a little bit turistic.

Best place to stay to visit the park. Literally inside it. The room was ok and the restaurant was good except for wines and cocktails.

The chalets have plenty of bugs… also because of the wood of the chalet. You have to pay a lot of charges and taxes

The resort is very very nice, you can see family of monkeys over the resort. It is inside the jungle which facilitates everything.

It seems to be hard to upkeep the facilities in these weather conditions... everything worked, but you could watch it ageing...friendly staff did not go out of its way - all in all you pay for the location.

This Hotel is all about location... we were visited on our Chalet Porch by monkeys, squirrels and a waran and loved the circade concert at night

We completed about our room after the first night, the room had not been prepared properly for new guests and was dirty, the shower was not working properly, the mosquito screen in the bathroom was missing. We complained and moved to another room, the standard of the second room met our expectations.

The cleanliness and the food variety could be improve. However the food buffet concept still ok, only that if less guest, the restaurant will provide two choice of meals that you may choose. Also beware of monkey, don’t leave ur door and window open.
