How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

one roller bed was ordered but it was a little soft. suggest hotel change new mattress for that.

Executive deluxe room is spacious with 2 big beds. Overall very comfortable. Location is strategic with very big mall to shop around and there are very fun places for the kids

Staying connecting room, room is spacious, clean and comfortable.. Buffet breakfast is good with a lot of varieties of food and big seating section. Enjoy too at the Periodic club as under the room package with free flow of wine and alcohol.

The breakfast spread was amazing lots of choices to choose from Nasi Lemak, Chicken rice, Roti prata, Tim sum, american breakfast, waffles, pancakes....etc MRT station located beside the mall, can travel without driving. A big Shopping mall connected directly beside the hotel without getting out of the hotel entrance. You can find Windlab (Skydiving), Indoor Theme park, Cinema, Surfing, 3 supermarket all in the mall.

Loved the room and the convenience of having a mall attached to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was well done and has a variety of food from different cultures. There is also a 24 hours room service which we took full advantage of. We've stayed here at least once a year since 2019 and it has never failed to meet our expectations.

Not many tv channels but its ok, the pool is medium-also not a big problem for us. Parking can be a bit challenging but u can opted for valet for rm30 per stay.
We love everything. We booked family room for 6 of us(consist of 2bedrooms and a large hall (its a connecting rooms) for our FabGirls staycation. We were offered welcome drinks n mini buffet on arrival which we love so much (enough to keep us full for the night as we checked in quite late). Bed n pillows were very comfortable, large bathrooms with bathrobe n slippers. We had a convenient pyjamas party and games due to the large living hall. The breakfast selections were huge and satisfying.

As an Asian and Muslim, I prefer pipe hose rather than bidet.

The beds are a little harder than preferred. However other Malaysian hotels with one exception were the same.

I noticed the sound insulation quality has dropped over the years. I can hear the sound from the next door room (or maybe we just have very noisy neighbours), whenever people are walking outside of the room door, and also sounds of running water from other rooms.
One World Hotel is our go-to hotel each time we travel back to KL. You cannot beat it's location - connected to one of the largest and best shopping mall in Malaysia, One Utama and also the Bandar Utama MRT station so you could easily take a trip to the city center. Their breakfast is something I always look forward, they have a large variety of spread, ranging from local Malay, Chinese, Indian and even Japanese, to Western food. You need to have a stomache like a cow in order to enjoy every single dish there! Their staff are always friendly and helpful, we always feel welcomed.
