You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Francewell, I came with a friend and we had both booked separate rooms. I was able to check in easily, how my friend had a really poor service. despite having booked beforehand via booking.com and receiving confirmation of his booking. the hostel had already sold all the rooms for that night. my friend was of course annoyed (we had arrived late after a long day of driving) but was understanding that they had not received this so let the room out for the night. the hotel staff were not very sympathetic ( when they should have been) . my friend and I tried to reason with the guy at it was getting late. I asked if he could put a mattress on the floor in my room - the guy was very relunctant to allow this and was quite rude about it. I thought we were being very reasonable with this request. after a while he gave in and would give us an old dirty mattress , we said this was very poor and he THEN gave us a better looking mattress (still not great). he then said I had to pay for this - we had to negotiate to get the price down. I think this is really poor customer service and I am not one to complain but this was really annoying. I would have hoped he would have been more understanding given our situation (travelers and it being quite late in a rural area).

SlovakiaWe booked the stay online and when we arrived, we found on the chack-in boot, that the property is full. We contacted them and they told us on phone there are no free rooms. After demanding the refund, they replied that they cannot do it and we should call some number, but that was not working. Claiming the refund on booknig didn't help, after more than two weeks no response.
