Didn’t like the fact that the shower sat between the 18 to 24 inches of space between the toilet and hand basin so when you showered everywhere was soaking. Just remember to take out the toilet roll!! Also one thing to point out if you are westerner was there was a sign at the pool that had dress code on it and swimsuits and bikinis were not allowed. This was uncomfortable for us but as we were the only guests we ignored it, but if you came and there were Muslims guests then I’m not sure what would be allowed or not. No one came up to us and said anything but perhaps in the hotel description somewhere this should be noted. Also our room was up 2 flights of steep steps so if you have heavy cases it’s a struggle.

The property is right next to the beach and the room blocks were quite spaced out and some thought had gone into the design. It is very peaceful ( we were the only guests there). The rooms were ok, they were clean and comfortable just leave your key in the air conditioning slot as it does get warm. We went during Ramadan and we are vegetarian and the lady in the kitchen made us breakfast especially for us. We got scrambled eggs, beans, toast, fruit, pastries and tea. All to be taken way and either eaten in your room or in the dining area. We ate in our room out of respect as they were fasting. The beach across from the hotel is nice, a bit of plastic on it but the sea was very choppy so be careful if you swim in there. We got caught out one morning in a rip tide and it was difficult to get back to shore. But we had the whole beach and hotel to ourselves for 2 days. Was great.

Ramadan was likely a big factor, but the lack of a restaurant or amenities close by for food limits the resort. It would be nice to have something where you can sit and eat some food in the evening, but it doesn't have anything like that. The local cats are a bit annoying when you're trying to eat too! But not the fault of the resort really.

Beautiful location, a nice swimming pool, and above all the staff went above and beyond to pick me up from the local bus station when there were no taxis available. And they took me somewhere I could get food as there were no restaurants open nearby. Extremely kind!

For this part, hopefully the Pandan Laut Resort management can considered to open up or add up to light-up or ON the LIGHT for the laundry, gazebo or certain area especially Front resort area so the Guest in the resort can enjoy the NIGHT life or Night environment around the resort even though there is only 2-3 guest stay in the resort. 0900pm already in the darkness surrounding. and there is Guest have to use their light car to light up the laundry area to laundry their cloth. Hopefully the resort management can consider this so the Guest can enjoy resort night environment because it such a waste because this resort have so nice ambience and environment for relaxing and stay. Hopefully it can be considered so my next visits , me and my family can enjoy in this resort again. Definitely will came back for next family vacation

Breakfast: It so good the "Nasi Dagang" that been prepared for my family. My family really love it. The portion and packaging is superb. Location: It was so nice, the pool, the environment and ambience like forest and beach combine. So relaxing. Even the private beach for the resort. Room: I took the family room which is Kemunting 2. So spacious and cozy with 3 large bed, sofa, TV (Netflix), Wifi (Have to request when check-in due to mobile internet is mostly not available in the room), 2 bathroom with toilet, fridge, water heater, Air-conditioner + fan. Got pouch and gazebo in front of the room. So can relax outside while take the sea breeze. Facility: Got laundry room / "DOBI" , so no worries to clean and dry the cloth. Swimming pool, Cafe or dining hall. Private Beach Location: So nice with the nice view of the ocean, nice beach and there is a lot of good seafood restaurant at surrounding area.
