There didn't seem to be a la carte options at the resturant and the buffet whilst OK seemed lack-lustre.

The staff are friendly and organised. The rooms are very well ariconditioned and comfortable.

Had trouble locking the door to our room. Loads and loads of ants in our room. The room wasn't particularly clean - I had to clean out my bedside draw which had hair and dust from previous guests. My bedding also had lots of stains. Breakfast was OK but lots of flies by the food.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was beautiful, gorgeous beach. quite quiet surroundings. It didn't feel like there were too many people around, which was nice. It was so lovely to be near nature - we loved the monitor lizards. The view from our balcony looked over the lake!

There were communication difficulties with staff members when organising transfers (boat trips were quite stressful for us too because of the weather but the hotel has nothing to do with it). When I was trying to organise something special for my husbands birthday the receptionist said that they can't offer anything and only manager can help me but he is not around, and to answer my email it took around a week and it was, of course, past the day already. The swimming pool was under maintenance. The area around houses was not clean. Had to pay for the lifejackets.

Me and my husband stayed in PIR for more than a week and absolutely enjoyed our time there! We had a nice comfortable room close to the beach and the restaurant, facilities were good (AC, water heating were working good), comfortable bed. The location of PIR is just amazing! We took all the snorkelling tours available but the best place we snorkelled was just right next to the beach. Although the restaurant is not the best it offers really tasty bbq (on bbq days) and tasty Kuey teow!

Structure that requires ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, both in the common areas and in the rooms. Rooms with poorly organized spaces, room finishes/furnishings that need fixing, restaurant that could be improved in variety, quality and service, old/broke beach loungers and mattresses. Swimming pool left disused as well tennis court I believe that if money were invested to improve everything, a slightly higher price would also be justified to amortize these expenses. Currently the price is high for the offer, save the vote and justifies the price, but not completely, only the location/beach and relative tranquility of the place

The pool was closed for renervation with no notification of this, wasn't really required as the sea was cristal clear and a perfect tempriture. I wanted to go snorkling but the group was fully booked, so make sure you book in advance. the food is mainly a buffet but there is an alacart menu. Also it a none achol resourt

Amazing quite place with hardly any children, the beach was empty most of the time with sunbeds been avalable throughout the day. was a fantasic stay with boat ferrys avalable all the time and for a very resonable price. the sea was incredable, very very memrable please

Uncomfortable mattress woke up with a back ache everyday, Not a lot of facilities at the resort - swimming pool was under construction, AC was not cooling fast had to leave it on for atleast an hour or so for the room to cool down before we return to the room, behind rooms did not seem as value for money would suggest to book the beachfront rooms to get full value of the stay

In general, the resort shows its age and the rear bungalows are rather modest (size and facilities).

The hotel is located on a small but beautiful stretch of beach on the island. You have to be aware that long beach walks or excursions without the use of boats are almost impossible. Diving and snorkelling are on offer, the beach itself is quiet and clean. The breakfast is sufficient, the evening menu manageable and expensive by local standards. Alternatively, there is the neighbouring resort. In general, the resort shows its age and the rear bungalows are rather modest (size and facilities). The staff are helpful, the bottom line is: you can do it.

The pool was unexpectedly undergoing renovations, a detail that was not previously communicated. However, aside from that, everything else was excellent.

The resort is conveniently positioned in a lovely spot, merely 50 feet from the beach. The dining choices are appealing, and the room provided ample space for two individuals, with a balcony offering a serene garden vista. Breakfast offerings were varied and satisfying.

Karaoke room closed, swimming pool lacked beds to lie on, in disrepair. No entertainment for evenings when can’t swim anymore. Shop on site was very expensive.

Snorkelling straight from beach. Swan with turtles from the beach every day. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choice for different tastes.

We did not like the good at all

I have been here 33 + 35years already- and surely a lot has changed! But one thing is definetly still the same: the beautiful location😍 lovely beach with really nice snorkel experiences:blacktip-reefsharks ( small ones ), stingrays and plenty turtels… just to name the highlights of the beach, right in front of the resort🐢🏝️🤩 The accomodation could be better, a bit cleaners, just like the whole resort. With obly a little touchup it could gain a lot of class. As for the food: better go to one of rhe other places closeby! Breakfast feels like a canteen and tastes like that as well. Staff was very friendly, can not agree with the other reviews. Prices are pretty high for what you get. They don’t sell beer or wine and don’t even let you bring your own one…so basically you are on vacation but you can’t do an aperitif on the beach, you need to go 5 minutes away in another resort ( The Barat ) where you can buy what you want! The day before the check out we told at the reception that the morning after we would need a taxy boat but when we arrived there wasn’t any taxy boat, we needed to go on the beach and finding it by ourself ( in more than 30 minutes! ).

Room was sandy, had to get housekeeping to clean. Old, tired property, definitely in need sprucing up. Restaurant food just so-so combined with no alcohol policy didn’t make the stay as enjoyable as other neighbouring resorts that offered better menu/food and alcohol.
