How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The cleanliness of the room & bathroom could be improved. The location is quite far from town and many eateries nearby were closed due to Raya.
A nice one night stay before heading back home. Despite having short stay, my kids had a blast at the swimming pool. Definitely worth a penny. The front desk staff and other staff are polite😊

Swimming pool not so clean. Hotel still in renovation took too long to complete. Exterior hotel looks so old. Can improve further. Restaurant for breakfast small. Room looks old. Can consider for upgrading. Iron board rusty.
Location of the hotel. Big room and breakfast. Parking space for car and no charge. Near to the town, a lot of restaurant for dinner.

To be fair, they were doing major renovation during my stay. The facilities and conveniency were at moderate but still acceptable. The staff are amazing. They make up lot!

Hotel is currently under renovations, the room was spacious, breakfast was okay. We were attending a football game, the field was across the road from hotel, so location was great.

I can't expect much because the hotel is under renovation/refurbishment. However, I would give credits to the front line staff who are very attentive and helpful. The food & room are satisfactory.

The hotel is currently under extensive renovation which I did not notice while making the booking. That means you have to walk the long way around to get to your rooms. The pools were still open while I stayed there, but I was told it would be closed from 3rd september onwards.
The staff were very friendly and polite. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.

Bewign near to the airport, you can see aircrafts taking off but the noise is not disturbing. The layout of the building is such that you have to walk a considerable distance from the lift to your room. The Lagenda Restaurant, where breakfast is served, is also a bit of walking distance from the lobby.
Spacious room with comfortable bed and plenty of counter tops for me to keep things. The hotel is within 10 minutes of the Kuala Terengganu Airport, which is very convenient for transit. The hotel is also within short taxi rides to the KTCC Mall.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and as a result, the reservation counter has been relocated to a more distant location. This can be inconvenient for guests who have luggage, as they will have to walk further to reach the counter and car park. However, the hotel does provide concierge services, which can help guests with their requests.
The staff were all very helpful and excellent. They were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my stay was enjoyable even though the hotel is under refurbisment. The room was very clean but could be improved from time to time. Breakfast was extremely good. There was a wide variety of food to choose from, and everything was fresh and delicious. The F&B Supervisor was very efficient and made sure that the breakfast buffet was always well-stocked and the guest's table was always clean. Overall, I had a very positive experience at this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We paid for 4 adults but they only insisted two towels per room. The female indoor pool was super cold. The public toilet by the pool wasn't clean. And up to preference but the scent of shower toiletries wasn't nice. This might be a temporary thing but since it was under construction, it was inconvenient to walk from the room to anywhere else.
The bed and pillows were comfortable and bedroom was spacious. Breakfast had some local delicacies and fruit loops.

The hotel was in renovation. The construction has affected some level of comfortability.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is cozy and considerably clean. Close to the airport - just right next to it.
