First it was a bit of a bad smell in dorm room. At night everything was okay, but I don't want to stay more.

Good location, good price, possible to pay by cash. It's okay for spending 1-2 night

    - dust in the room (window, bedhead, toilets) - breakfast included is : coffee/powder milk/tea/sugar + soft bread/butter/watermelon. Still better than nothing but I would not call it breakfast for an hotel. For « hostel », it’s not mentioned as a breakfast. It’s more like snacks where you can help yourself. - mosquitoes could enter from I don’t know where, even while locking everything

    - city center - near bus station - room + bathroom - staff from restaurant friendly and polite :) I encourage the place to progress

Don’t get fooled about complimentary breakfast. You will only get a toast, jam and coffee that tastes nothing like coffee. Also on the way to the second floor mattresses are standing up drying. Lounge area maybe used to be a lounge are. Now it is boxes of stuff like storage room.

Location was the best, center of everything

Iwasnt feeling safe as a drunk guy ( old like 50yo ) was in my room and the staff let him in several times and he was very loud and violent. I should have booked a girl dorm but was unavailable. Bathrooms wasnt that clean either

The room was very comfortable ! Location is great you can walk to the street art and in the middle of Little India !

-Dorms nice but very small. We also had a weird person in ours that did some unfavourable things. -Advised two days into the stay that our locker has the same key as bed next door. Thankfully everything was still there as we left it. -Shoes are not allowed upstairs but the floors are dirty and sticky. -Shower and toilets not very clean, always so wet, blocked and doors broken. -No communal areas unless you eat in their restaurant.

-Good free breakfast with tea/coffee. -Water refills always available.

The equipment in rooms (matrasses and wardrobes) are older and might be renewed. My room did not have a window, the AC was efficient enough but after turning one, there was a water leakage on my bed.

Very central location, a nice old charming house. The free breakfast was a benefit, there was a toast bread, jam, margarine, water mellon, tea and coffee. If this offer does not suit you, you can purchase your food and prepare it in the microwave oven which is available there.

My bunk wall had the Niagra falls crashing throught it everytime someone had a shower! I was woken several times at midnight or later with what felt like a sinking ship being flooded.

They have a cafe downstairs so after breakfast there isn't much common space available, no kitchen access.

The staff is great, I have come many times,. Perfect location, comfortable beds, privacy curtains on the beds.lockers for valuables, electric outlets and lights for each bed. Free hot and cold water. Free simple breakfeast, plus coffee and tea.

The rooms are upstairs, so the stairs might not be too friendly for elders.

Great location, near Little India. There's a personal storage locker at the front of the bed. Bed is comfy & cozy, aircon is cold. There are multiple shared bathrooms, come with heated water, slightly tight space, liquid soap available. Breakfast available at 8.30am, sometimes earlier. Self serve, toast, free flow of coffee & tea. Love the juicy watermelon. :) Friendly staffs. I would recommend this place to young ppl & travellers for a budget stay. Value for money. Will book again :)

The included breakfast was somewhat loveless and bland, some bread in a bag, buckets of margarine and one jam, average coffee with creamer, and some watermelon.

The location was excellent, right in the older part of Penang, not far from the main historical and cultural sights.
