They didnt take care of the place, it would be beautiful if just someone put some effort on it. Repairing, painting, watering plants... Everything had seen its better days and was broken or almost broken. Also my bed was bad, could feel all the strings in it. But my friend told he's bed was good, so not all of them are bad :) (I had a private room) There is no fridge for customers

I liked the atmosphere, it was nice and cosy and staff was really nice and helpful :) They organized biketours, templetours, yoga, pool/gym trips. Place was really nice with a big roofterrace and wallpaintings. They had filter on the tabwater, so you can fill your waterbottle and not have to buy the plastic ones, points!!!! Hot water and aircon was working. It was just a few blocks from the jonker-street and the river too

The terrace roof is useless, it's sunny and reeeeally hot there during the day, what is a pity, because it's such a great area. It's nothing particular from this hostel, but the need to leave the shoes off is not exactly hygienic, once the bathroom is constantly wet and there is a lot of people stepping there and all around.

The location is perfect, close to all the touristic attractions; the areas are clean; the beds are comfy and with a lot of privacy. Good showers, with hot water and good pressure. The girls from the staff are just the bed, and Howard, the owner, is kind of an adult with a child soul, so funny and spontaneous. There are three cool common areas, we can always choose between socialize or stay by ourselves.

The owner and the volunteers (Matt, Maelys and Maïwen) were very nice and helpful. I enjoyed the activities (Bicycle ride to the foaling mosque and to the Sikh temple) a lot. I had a great time and being surrounded by such lovely people was just wonderful :) I would come again!

Wifi was a bit slow at times, A/C was not so cold at times.. but mostly I was outdoors so it didn't bother me that much.. overall this place is the best fun place..

The place felt like home, well build, tidy and the owner was very friendly and helpful. He even waited me till late evening for my check-in. Kudos to the owner.

very old mattresses where you can feel the springs. places to hang out could be more comfortable. basic bathrooms. extremely cold dorm due to strong AC without sufficient blanket. a little bit on the far side of the sights

nice social vibe some nights (not guaranteed), very friendly and helpful staff, nice owner, bike rental and the tour are cool. a rooftop to get out the sun and enjoy the wind, of there is some. close to night market

The location was perfect! Right beside Jonker Street. there are many good restaurants and cafe nearby. The curtains were perfect for additional privacy.

The owner Howard and volunteer staff were absolutely amazing. everyone was super nice and accommodating. it was nice to stay where everyone felt included and like a big family. during our stay a group of us went to the movies, did a bike tour around sunset and even got invited to a dinner /karaoke event. I can’t recommend this place enough! it truly was an amazing place to stay. thank you for everything!!

Definitely needs renovation. Dirty bathrooms, bed smell in some parts of hostel. There is excellet rooftop, which could be biggest advantage of this place, but it's dirty, old unnecessary stuff left there.

Good vibe. Good location. GREAT helpfull staff. Water refill. They organise activities for hostel guests. Shower gel provided. Curtains in beds, so you can have privacy while sleeping.

The robot-hoover thing which gets sent around the dorms in the morning (9:30am) when people are still sleeping is incredibly annoying and it’s very noisy. Can this not be done later in the day? The beds are very uncomfortable too, some of the worst I’ve come across :(

Really fun sociable environment with a great roof terrace, nice to head up there at night. The owners seem really nice too.
