Noisy. People outside were talking loudly, including a drunk man shouting, till the wee hours of the morning. I ended up not sleeping a wink. Pillows were hard and double deckers creaked with movement.

Convenient location to board the boat and sufficiently clean for an old room.

The entrance is a bit off. Have to pay attention or you might missed it.

Simple breakfast but delicious. The rooms are cozy and clean. Good for a short stay. Friendly staff who gives us good recommendation on where to go for seafood dinner.

The access road is terrible. The door does not have additional locks. The toilet cannot be locked.

i almost slipped on a wet floor upon exiting the door to main entrance. luckily i hold on the door knob but i hit the wooden doors n 2 of my toenails bled. the worker are not so attentive never bother to check my conditions. the rooms are dirty n kettle was not washed properly still have stains on it. not dare to use. the toilet is bad, smells of smoke, moldy.

There was a water supply cut and no back up provision was provided as we thus could not have a shower nor brush our teeth nor flush the toilet when we arrived at about midnight. That night asked to purchase mineral water to brush our teeth and the reception counter said that they were only allocated foreign house room guests and not for sale and we were not even informed of the small water filter station they had tucked away in a corner. The supply of water was not even restored by the next morning.. Also, the water filter station in a corner for us to get drinking water but even that had run dry. Even though the property has a shoes off policy in the public areas...the floor was still dirty. The walls are thin and you can hear what is going on in the next room. The prawn noodles for breakfast in the morning was easy too salty and there were lots of flies. The tired looking and run down property has definitely seen betters days and there appears to be a lot of unused marine craft and other junk parked in and around the property and with poultry running all around the place. The public toilets at the back for the property are disgraceful. We paid about RM120 per night via booking.com but feel that the highest they could warrant was perhaps RM60 at best.

This was an overnight transit stop for us to catch the speed board to Tenggol Island the next morning and the 12 room property with its own restaurant was located just by the jetty.

I arrived dungun very late, 1.30am in the morning, and there was no grab car or taxi around in the town and i got no way to reach the guesthouse. I called up the person-in-charge asking whether he can come and pick me at the place where the bus dropped me. He was very kind enough to come out at 1.30am and come and pick me to the guesthouse. If there is one thing that i must compliment, this is it. I was very grateful that he did not mind that his sleep was interrupted because he needs to come and pick a guest up. Thank you.
