The location is perfect if you dont want to stay in busy Chenang Beach. Just 5 mins away. A few local restaurants, bars, duty free shops,etc.

The doors in the rooms couldn’t be locked, and the doors were stained.

Overall the whole experience was really good. Good location. Good comfortable beds, bathtub, hot shower. Breakfast is good, quite a selection of food. We booked a junior suite, and it came with a living room and a small private pool,

The property is listed as Patai Cenang, but actually is more in Patai Tengah. It is not too far, but you need to walk between 15 to 30 minutes to actually visit the city center. Breakfast was quite expensive.

The hotel is close to the beach, had a nice (but shallow) pool, and good facilities (such as spacious bathroom, AC). Overall a good stay.

Please improvise room cleanliness as well as the balcony. Mattress for extra bed could be slightly thicker for a better sleep.

Breakfast was good , not many varieties but good food. Upper level room need to be more clean and the balcony as well. Extra mattress could be more comfortable as it was very thin . Otherwise overall stay was good and excellent customer service by front desk staff . They were very helpful and reachable all the time.

The rooms are very very dark, dated and all the walls are marked and dirty near the floor, it makes the room feel dirty. We were very disappointed with both rooms we tried were not like the photos. There is a lot of foliage there fore lots of bugs and ants

The buildings are quirky and the staff are fantastic. The shower was fantastic We had to change rooms due to noise. There isn't much around the area, unless you are looking for somewhere very quiet. There are 3 bar/restaurants a 5 min walk away which were the saving grace

The room wasn't tip top clean, could really improve on frequency cleaning. Stained bed sheets, sand and dirt below the bed and in the furniture, doors also cloud benefit from wiping. It is really not as bad as other reviews make it look but it could definitely be a lot better. I went there afraid of having to find another place to stay but it wasn't the case. This being said, I would come back (when it's cheaper)

Breakfast did not have any vegetarian options other than bread and cereals. We did not really enjoy the breakfast. We had two power outages only at our room because of a bad water pump switch, the staff rectified it in about 30 min. We also lost WIFI for a few hours during the power outage and the following day.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The air conditioning was good. The beds were comfortable. Good and clean swimming pool.

The breakfast wasn’t as good as we hoped. The inclusion of some fresh fruit and a larger selection would have improved the breakfast.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite with our 4 children. From arrival we loved our stay at the Royale Chenang. The apartment was spacious and well equipped with plenty of indoor and outdoor space.
