Showers in the same room as the toilet meant the floor was often wet when going to the toilet in bare feet/socks. Bathroom areas could have been cleaner.

Such friendly staff and very helpful with organising tours - we thought we wouldn’t have time to do a river cruise and they managed to sort out the trip for us AND subtracted the cost of the night we weren’t staying at the hostel without us even asking! Free breakfast - toast and bananas Unlimited free water!

The bed was a bit hard, and you will probably need earplugs and eye masks if you are a light sleeper. No biggy for us. We would stay again.

Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Grateful for the breakfast, especially the freshly boiled eggs. Our room was very spacious and clean. Good value for money.

Hostel was good located and they had tours ready to book. All-in-all shower and toilets were ok, budget-hostel-standard. Like the common area on the roof the most.

The place was cool! Good stopping point for going on the jungle river cruises. Everything you need to prepare for the trip is close by. Staff are great and ready to help you out with anything you need.

Bathrooms aren't the cleanest, and water pressure is poor.

Good value and good location. The artwork all over the walls gives the place a lot of character. The rooftop is pleasant, with hammocks and lots of seating. Beds are comfortable. I liked it enough to stay twice - before and after my Kinabatangan camp.

Lovely hostel with nice interior having paintings on the walls throughout the hostel. Has a sandbag and other tools for basic workouts. The rooftop balcony is really nice with hammocks and perfect view on the sea for sunrises.

We thought we had private bathroom but was only a shower room no toilet. breakfast was exceptionally basic. the private room is trying to have a graffiti look but it just isn’t good

The noise from the restaurants music was so loud they had a singer that sang out of tune!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. They have the best, cheapest information about tours in the area like the apes or the bears. Good vibe inside the building and shared spaces. Location was perfect: very close to the water and in the center with groceries and restaurants nearby. Free water refill is available, also the same with coffee and tea. Free breakfast is also nice, but we didn't try that one because of the time (max until 09:30) :P

The area around the hostel was a bit rough. Wifi is not so good in the dorms.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. The hostel takes precaution for safety with the entrance. Perfect for a place to just sleep while traveling. Plenty of bathrooms.
