Spacious and clean rooms, a nice relaxation area is also available. There is air conditioning in the rooms, the rooms get cold. Right next to the night market. That's why I loved it here!

More of a hotel than a social backpackers so not a place to meet people if that’s what you’re looking for. Right next to market so super noisy. Ear plugs are a must!

Great location and very clean, comfortable rooms. The reception staff were lovely and helped me do my laundry at short notice which I really appreciated! Would definitely stay again next time I’m in KK

The staff were wonderful and so respectful. They truly made me feel welcomed and valued. This a small hotel who made hospitality their priority. They made good use of unoccupied top shoplots in KK, renovated it beautifully and made employment available for the locals. Please support them!

Because its right beside the night market, it can be quite noisy till late night as expected, but not a big deal as long as you have earplugs. Bathrooms has a bit of smell maybe due to old piping.

Very convenient location. Located right beside the night market and eateries / cafes. Very helpful and friendly staffs who are always ready to help. Toilets are always kept clean and bright. Bunk bed is well equipped with curtain for privacy, socket, 2 types of lighting. Very cozy common space with dining area, sofa and TV. Super comfy and clean bed, I had a really good sleep!

A few considerations. You would need to walk up to the first floor where the reception is. Also if you stay on Saturday night, be mindful of both the Saturday night market and Sunday morning market. So sounds do travel if your room is nearby. Also take note of where you park!

Still new, room and place is so pretty and comfortable! The stylish fittings were unexpected for the reasonable price I was paying. Comfy bedding and Netflix on TV.

Signel Poshtel team is very kind and open to support us with good restaurants recommendations. The hotel is walking distance to the city markets, maritime walking area and many restaurants, supermarkets, fruits shops (Duren included) and small local shops. For sure I recommend you to book Signel Poshtel!!!

It was rather noisy because of the market outside but I did go to sleep early - would bring ear plugs next. Actually, I would go to the night market and enjoy the delicious food!

We were greeted by a warm smile. The check in process was easy and smooth. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We slept very well in the plush beds. If you have luggage, they have put in a lift from level 2 which is helpful. Would totally stay again! Great value and location.

To have its own cafe, coffee bar would be nice but was told the renovation of the ground floor lot was not part of Poshtel expansion. Nights esp weekend can be a bit noisy due to Gaya street below.

Comfort, cleanliness and toilet amenities provided allow good rest for travellers, especially post-hiking/mountaineering. Location also allows easy access to quality food and pick-up point for e-hailing.

Located in the heart of Kota Kinabalu I was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Really comfortable, everything felt very new and clean and had a great night sleep. Only stayed one night but would stay for longer if I had time. Stayed midweek and it was super quiet. On a Saturday it's very close to a street night market which sounded fun.

The rooms are not 100% isolated so you can hear if someone talks in the corridor.

One of the best hotels we had in our trip in Borneo. It is super clean, modern, with all amenities you need, very comfortable bed and super located! The staff was also very friendly are was not a problem to do a very late check in (2 am) or to check out a bit later than the plan.
