During the breakfast, they were a big family gathering, some of them pass plates of food to the room to eat. I’ll suggest to set rules on breakfast at the respective area only to maintain and keep the rooms clean. The floor of the public area looked not so clean despite guests were required to wear provided slippers in the building. Quality of the towels were bad, not water absorbing. Mosquitoes in the night when the weather is not so cold. Soundproofing is not ok. Room cleaning is a bit late.

It’s a home-stay style resort, u will experience very basic facilities and amenities(so do NOT expect too much with such price), sharing filtered drinking water and iron board with others outside the rooms. The scenery from my 3rd floor balcony is nice, enjoy the sun and cool breeze during the day and cats might jump in the room via balcony😅. Open air/semi-outdoor eatery space at the back of the premise. Personally I love the breakfast provided, although they served very simple local food(as some of the reviews complained about the variety of food but it’s perfectly fine for me even they served similar food every morning) e.g. fried noodles/beehoon, baked beans, sambal chili, delicious turmeric fried chicken, toasted bread with assorted jam, cornflakes with milk, coffee and tea, 1 type of fruit and 1 type of cake/ kueh. And each person can enjoy 2 eggs with requested cooking type, mayb sunny side up/omelette/…the friendly and smiley foreign worker will served directly to you once it done. One thing I must compliment and appreciate is the working attitude of the foreign workers, they are hardworking, friendly and helpful to my eyes. Actually the next day when we finished our half day tour and reached the resort about 1300, I found that my room had not been tidied up. The worker immediately do it for me although he looked like can’t really understand English when I tried to communicate with him.

Fan was dusty. Toilet needs more & better scrubbing. Room service needs to be more detail when cleaning - drawer in my room still had a leftover cigarette box from previous visitor

We have to leave our footwear outside and wear the home chappals, not a fan of it as I might be wearing another person’s footwear as they are all the same. Some of the slippers they had were cut and were making me trip. Need to cross steep road to reach the hotel. Did not feel like I got the value for the money I paid.

Nothing really. Just one little warning: the last bit of the way here is not for the faint of heart! It’s very steep, because the hotel is quite up the hill. Our poor little rental car barely made it 😉.

Very friendly and helpful people! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner himself. He genuinely wants to do a good job. So does his staff. Bonus: cuddly cats.

The steep road up the hill ... the hike is quite taxing..if you have to walk out of the vicinity.

Quite noisy (sleep was a pain without earplugs). Stains on the pillow covers and bedsheets (we had one more spare set in the room). No point paying for breakfast - we came at 8.30 and had nothing left to eat; no plates and no forks, had to wait for someone to come and do the dishes. Breakfast in the city is way better for the same price.

The locations are far from famous tourists places, also Grab service is not available there, so we just had shuttle bus from the hotel. So location wise, it’s better to plan accordingly

Our bedroom did not have a window, only a door opening to the shared balcony, but that's it everything was perfect otherwise

The staff at Tekoma hotel was so nice and so helpful too, not forget the cute little cats! The hotel is a short walk from the town center (10 minutes). The room was basic but had everything we needed and we enjoyed the breakfast!

Clean, quiet, outside space, hill top location with view over town, great free shuttle service from the friendly and funny Simon. Excellent communication prior to arrival and during stay for pick ups and drop offs. Made it well located for town to go hiking & to see the tea plantations. Hot well powered shower and very clean bedding and towels. Excellent breakfast, water provided and coffee and kettle in room.

The bed was rather hard, which was not very comfortable, but that seems to be the norm in most of Southeast Asia. Also, the walls are rather thin, so you can hear almost everything.

Best of all - the cats! So sweet and affectionate and playful!! The staff was great, super helpful, super friendly and always had recommendations for us! The location is great, far enough from city center to enjoy a nice view and some quiet times, close enough to walk there within less than 10 minutes. It's located on a hill, so the view is lovely and they have a driver, Simon, who's always happy to pick you up! Breakfast is good, has enough choices and tastes delicious, they could extend the times until 10am though ;-)

You have to change your shoe to the slippers provided. The road to the property is very steep
