MalaysiaCould be time for the mattress to be upgraded although our sleep weren't affected by it. TV channels were old and limited. Android TVs would be the way forward as most would be able to watch Netflix and YouTube streamed to it - perhaps an option when the hotel undergoes a refresh exercise.
Breakfast was scrumptious with plenty of choices from a menu. Service was fantastic and friendly and everyone we encountered served with smiles on their faces. The note and brownie by the GM in conjunction with our Silver Anniversary were nice touches, as were the red cloth on the doorway and folded swans.

SingaporeThe nosie from the pipes in the building could be annoying when your neighbour takes a shower. Other than that, nothing to dislike.
Small and personalised. Uniquely in a peranakan setting. The pool was small but good enough for us. The spa was good as well. All these matched our intention for a 3D2N chillax vacation. Breakfast was a la carte all you can eat, yummy. Front desk staff Anne is very helpful and friendly. She helped us with reservations to popular restaurants and gave us good recommendations.

Appetizing. -Location was awesome too. Facing melaka river, can have a stroll after meals. & eleven is walking distance, food stalls and hawkers are just around the corner.

Although all of the front desk staff were great, especially Greg, the bartenders and other wait staff seemed a little aggressive and unhappy. Notably I went downstairs for a drink and felt like I wasn't welcomed at the bar, not to mention the drink itself wasn't so well put together.

AustraliaI would recommend this place overall. It has character but some of the facilities aren’t quite there. It is also in a little out from the historic sites and night market and is located next to a big hospital. The staff were very friendly and helpful overall. The lady from the breakfast room was a star. Toilet was crammed - was hard to sit if you are tall. Use of dark materials for example counter tops made it smaller. The counter tops were small with hardly any space for toiletries bag etc.

United KingdomThere was some confusion at the start of the stay, as I hadn't expected to be paying when we arrived. The communication was poor from Booking.com - so I won't fault the hotel for it. The staff were very patient while we worked out the issue.
The service and staff were really superb. The breakfast was tasty. The location was good for our tastes, we could walk into town along the river, there were some tasty, local restaurants as well as local shops nearby. I'm not sure everyone would have felt secure walking where we did and I would assume others might rely on taxis. The staff were SUPER accommodating and went over any above in EVERY scenario. They managed to get us into one of our rooms early, so we could shower/change and head out while the others were still being prepared. Just excellent service. Couldn't fault them.
