The staff was amazing and made our stay really comfortable. The shuttle to the beach was lovely. The location was perfect, and the room was beautiful and really big. The breakfast was delicious and there was a larger variety. We will definitely be back.

The breakfast spread was very plain. In fact, the kitchen team is very disorganised. We had ordered food as room service. After a while, we decided to go to the restaurant downstairs & eat the food there. Turns out, the order was not even processed yet by the staff & they hadn't even started making it. In fact, they even forgot what our order is....

The staff - is so helpful, always smiling. One of the staff at the entrance came to open our car door the moment he saw us arrive & helped us get our luggage out. He was Malay guy with specs, amazing hospitality by the guy. Rooms are beautiful, great view, well maintained.

The music by the pool is absolutely terrible (continuous cheesy 'bangers', borderline offensively bad) and played way too loud so you can't drown it out with your headphones. Makes it hard to enjoy the pool. Some chilled loungy/house with no lyrics would make the experience several notches better! Please put some more thought into the music!

Step up to main entrance doors and room door. Made difficult with luggage, not suitable for people with disabilities.

A minor disadvantage was that the road to the beach was not well maintained. On the other hand, the hotel provided a free shuttle to the beach. Also, there were no free sunbeds, and the hotel did not provide beach towels. A drying rack for wet swimsuits would be also a great addition.

We had a stylish room with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfasts were amazing, with a huge selection. A rooftop swimming pool was also great! We got free lunches, which was a pleasant surprise.

A beautiful hotel in a great location. Staff were so welcoming and helpful. The room was great - spacious and fully equipped. The rooftop pool and bar were the highlight! Great sunset views and comfy seating. Breakfast had a good range and was fresh. Would 100% recommend.

The food was meh. Could use more variety and flavor. Hotel is located a little way from the main road in Langkawi but still walking distance in my opinion.

Lovely newer property with residences and rooms. We stayed in a two bedroom room and it was spacious and bright. It was walking distance to the beach and about a 20 minute walk from the Main Street in Langkawi. Service was great. The gym and rooftop pool was very nice.

The staff were fantastic, really frendily and made us feel very welcome… they helped us out a lot from giving us good recommendations for restaurants to helping us move rooms (due to noisy guests)… Jansi on the door was a really nice man and we enjoyed chatting to him often. The hotel is lovely with a great roof terrace with a nice pool and the beers were pretty cheap and ice cold. Visit cactus restaurant nearby for the best beef rendang I have ever eaten. Will definitely stay here again if we go back to Langkawi 😀

The Riyaz was fabulous accommodation, it was close by the beach and a short walk to nearest bars and restaurants. About 15 minutes walk into the shops, bars, food truck market in Pantai Cenang. Clean and comfortable room with excellent breakfast. excellent pool area and gym.
