Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South AfricaUnfortunately when we got there the Mall was closed (about 1900) There weren't really any eating facilties handy except a very greasy Kentucky Chicken (plagued by beggers & taxis) or a King Pie at the nearby Garage. However we made do.
Pleasant friendly staff, Breakfast was good. Handy for a shopping Mall to get groceries for rest of trip.

Simple accommodation for people who want to keep their costs low and still stay in the very centre of town. Big shopping mall just across the road. Good breakfast, friendly staff, good value for money if you can do without any luxury.

United KingdomNo toilet paper in room on arrival. No coffee in room, only creamer and sugar??? Found that out at 1am when I needed a drink!!! The only member of staff who knew what he was doing was Shayer. He was very good. The people from the adjoining room to mine used the table and chairs outside my bedroom window talking and smoking. Maybe the tables outside the rooms should be moved away from bedroom windows for the sake of your guests. The plastic bag moving around the bottom of the swimming pool was an indicator that the pool is not cleaned regularly, it was there for the three days of my visit. I had been looking forward to taking a dip, but not in a dirty pool.
Good location, very short walk to the city centre. The breakfast was basic but the quality of food was very good. Enough of a selection to keep most people happy. I had fried eggs and bacon each morning and it was prepared to order and very nicely cooked. The room was adequate but could have done with somewhere to hang clothes on hangers. At the end of the day you get what you pay for so it was value for money.
