I felt so warmly welcomed and so I really lay back and relax after some rough days of traveling. The garden is very green and feels like a oasis in a city. I am so happy to have made the decision to go there and would always come back.

The rooms could use some air conditioning as the temperatures in Leon were like 39°C during my stay but every room has at least a fan :)

The owner of this hostel is suuuuper friendly. She helped me out with a lot of things, gave me recommendations about Leon and even helped me when my tour operator didn't show up. The location is super close to the city center with the cathedral and a supermarkets - and also to a car rental agency. And the indoor courtyard was also very green and a perfect refuge during the heat and a place to socialize with other travelers :) I would definitely recommend this place to everyone coming for Leon!

Everything was great!

Location is excellent. It is super close to the centre, yet in a quiet part of town. Rooms are clean and well kept. The property has a beautiful garden and lots of space to sit out and work or relax. The hosts are the kindest people. So friendly and supportive. They helped me with cabs and every information that I needed to move around. Highly recommend.

The owners are very sweet, helped us with everything - they're great. The bed and sheets were clean and the window had a mosquito net.

Some other guests were smoking in the garden area, which I did not appreciate at all.

The host was warm and friendly, it felt like I was staying in someone's home. They had a dog, which became my best friend. Free coffee was appreciated. Nice rocking chair to sit on in the garden area.

If you're looking for a relaxing place to stay, this is your best choice. The garden is great to cool down after a busy day in León, Even if the location is very calm you can walk in 10 minutes to the main place. The hosts are very welcoming and help you with everything. I can definitely recommend this accommodation!

Marixa was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to sort some ripped clothing issues for me!. Excellent location 4 minutes stroll to central plaza.. lovely leafy peaceful garden to relax in..clean room with comfy bed..gratis coffee on the brew all day and nice breakfast included. Most highly recommended.

nothing really considering price vs. value

Casa de los Berrios is a true oasis in Leon. Nice, spacious double rooms, big enough singles, each with their private bathrooms, an inviting courtyard to meet other travelers or simply enjoy some down-time, strong wifi, great value for money, free coffee and a short walk into the city. Best of all is the super friendly and tremendously helpful lady running the place. I would definititely come back.

It's in a great location, only a few minutes walk to the centre square. The rooms are big and spacious and the host is lovely and welcoming. The outside space is really nice to relax in. Each room has a table and chairs outside with plenty of shade to escape the heat!  They offer shuttles, tours and laundry service! Thank you for our stay 🙂

Marixa was the greatest host. We mixed up our bookings and arrived one day earlier at 10:30 in the Night. She was fully Booked but let us sleep in her daughters room. Thanks for saving us, Marixa. It‘s a very nice Family owned Hotel and its Great sitting outside in the lovely yard.

The facilities are exactly as on the pictures. It’s quite there’s free water and personally I love this type of architecture. The lady was very sweet with receiving me. She stayed up very late to make sure I could check in (i was arriving per shuttle from El Salvador). The next morning she did helped me out with a shuttle to gigante. She even saw me walking by (when I went for a walk) and took the effort the make sure I knew the hostel was here. Big family vibes, she reminded me of my grandmother. Pure gold heart. Would def recommend this place.

Rooms quite basic, but no problem. Would be nice to have access to a fridge. Couldn't pay with card.

The owner cooked me breakfast even though I just asked if there was coffee to buy. She didn't even charge me anything! The room is small but enough for a solo traveller and it's cheap and clean. The location is superb as it's less than 3-4 minutes walk to the touristy parts but far enough that the noise and lights wouldn't bother you.

The bathroom is a bit outdated yet gets the job done. You pay for what you get the value here is unbeatable. The fan in the room was a bit dusty, I'm sure if I asked would have cleaned it.

The location is very close to the central plaza. The staff is always willing to help if it's from booking a trip, shuttle, or restaurant recommendations. It gets pretty quit at night you can hang at a hostel then come back for a good nights rest.
