Beautiful and quiet hostel, so nice to use a great kitchen while travelling!

Mosquitoes- even with repellant, had many bites. Lighting very low, almost dark, hard to read or see tiny things, need curtains for beds. Better ventilation- extremely hot at night, difficult to sleep - rooms are open in the front, but no windows in the back- so hot just recirculates with the fans. Beds are too small - need longer beds for taller people

Clean rooms, great for relaxing and big kitchen. The dog was the cutest! Free coffee in the morning. Everything in walking distance.

The rooms do not have an air conditioner, only a ceiling fan, which doesn't cool very well in the hot, humid climate. The room and bathroom were a bit dim, especially on the ground floor. Upstairs rooms are a bit brighter and with more natural light. The owners graciously offered to move me to an upstairs room after my first night, but I declined. They shut down the hotel promptly at 9:00 pm. All lights off. One evening another guest and I were relaxing in the garden reading and enjoying the weather when the lights suddenly went out. No announcement or warning -- just suddenly plunged us into darkness. (Maybe it was on a timer. I don't know). It was a bit unsettling. The rooms are supposed to be cleaned Tuesday and Saturday. I was there Sunday - Wednesday, but my room was not cleaned. Despite these minor complaints, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and thought it was a good value for the money. I recommend it, and would certainly stay there again.

This hotel is in a good location only about 2 blocks from the mercado and 3 blocks from Plaza Central. The room is modern and clean. The bathroom had 2 bath towels, a hand towel, and a terrycloth bathroom mat and bath rug, which is more generous than most places. The room also has a full-length mirror. WiFi worked well, and there are outlets by the bed. There is a shared kitchen and a lovely small garden with hammocks, chairs, and benches. The owners are an American husband and his Nicaraguan wife. She lived in the States for many years, so is fluent in English. She is also very kind and personable. The hotel is clean and quiet. I heard the occasional rooster, but no street noise.

We had no issues with parking there but if there are a number of cars it will be an issue. The property does advise that parking is limited and on a first come basis.

A super well equipped and well presented hostel only 5 minutes walk from the Basilica. Probably the best presented 'hostel' we have ever stayed in. We were lucky enough to have an option of a room with AC which we were glad to pay for in addition as it was super hot when we were there.

A very warm welcome from Roger and Selina who were always around to give helpful advice or just a chat about our day. The whole place was super clean ! With 9(?) rooms there was a friendly but not noisy vibe. The kitchen was well equipt and so cooking meals was easy. Coffee was brewed was provided for free around breakfast time . The WiFi was excellent . Comfortable communal sitting area with hammocks . Very good location close to the cathedral. We paid extra for A/C in our too was it was really hot in Leon. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

There's no A/C in the room and it was INCREDIBLY hot and that made it almost hard to sleep at night. There was not much ventilation in the room so day and night it was very hot in there.

The room was nicely decorated, it was clean and the place really well located. Also the kitchen in the hostel was well equipped, also very clean. We had super nice chats with the staff, they are a lovely couple and they care very much about the hostel and the guests' wellbeing.

The hostel staff are very friendly and welcoming. The beds are comfy and it is quiet at night so you wake up rested. The kitchen is one of the most well-equipped I have seen for a hostel, so you can cook with comfort.

It is a beautiful and comfortable hostel. The kitchen is very well equipped. The rooms and common areas are very clean. We had fun with Canelo the German Shepherd.

I loved staying here, Roger the host is a mine of information, the room was clean and comfortable, very close to the cathedral but lovely and quiet. I wish I could have had longer here, and if I come back to León I would absolutely stay here again!

Nothing but it is very hot in Leon and you may be wise to pay the extra 10 usd a night and get aircon.

The owners and staff are lovely. It was very clean, lots of towels. The outside space was great for chilling in. Very close to the centre but quiet.

Location is really great. Close enough to the city centre and yet sufficiently away from most of the city noises. Well organised hostel. Nice room.plenty of storage. Cold shower (but frankly you definitely do not need hot water in this heat). Great wifi. Ample room to relax in their inner garden. Kind staff who leave you at ease but are also very receptive to any questions you might have. In short: one of the best I've encountered in Nicaragua so far.

Everything was awesome. The couple who run the hostel are super friendly and have a ton of great local knowledge and recommendations. The rooms are nice and the courtyard and kitchen are brilliant.

Amazingly clean, floors being mopped continuously, hand towels changed daily, kitchen very well equipped and cleaned daily. Plus a beautiful garden to chill, Leon is hot.

Perfect place to stay!!! The owners are very friendly and helpful.. Rooms are nice with a very comfortable bed! And there is a wonderful garden with a shared kitchen that you can prepare your meals! And coffee for free 😉
