Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

EstoniaLack of AC or fresh air as the apartments are built inside the hangar. Wanted to check the pool, but it seemed uncleaned so skipped that.
Inside the hotel all design is interesting and worth checking out. Room was spacious and everything was working good. Nice breakfast.

CanadaThe room didn’t have a window to the exterior, only a window to an interior space. It would of been nice to have air flowing through the room.
The staff were great. They accommodated all my needs to have a great stay! Dinner and breakfast included was a bonus.

HungaryThe lack of AC / the high price of AC rooms
Good hotel if you just wanna stay 1 night. Relatively close to the airport, but in a dodgy neighbourhood. Its not a luxury hotel but the best you can get for around 30 USD. The free dinner is a big plus. Before they even had a free airport transfer, but not anymore. The pool should be cleaned, the bottom was green from algae, and there are sever parts broken, the wifi is excellent, good (but little) dinner and breakfast, The rooms are clean, and normal sized the onyl main problem is the lack of aircon. Now some rooms have AC, but they cost almost the doble, so doesnt worht it! If AC rooms would be closer to the non AC price this hotel would be an excellent choice!

CanadaHuge comfy bed in a big room. Had a powerful fan to keep us cool. The design of the building is very beautiful. There was a waterfall shower head in shower , and big bathroom. The staff was friendly Scarlett made our morning with her smile and kind presence. Free breakfast was very tasty and great coffee! The pool and gym were very nice. Good location, they called us a cab to bring us to the bus station. 10/10 experience

IndonesiaFor the price, NO Air Con is a big steep. The room did have a ceiling fan and a mini fan, but it was still hot. Cold showers only. I was put right at the back next to a water fountain you could hear all night too. The Shuttle wasn't free! You'd think it would be as a convenient service, but they charged $5US. The location: it is in the middle of nowhere, and the surrounding area seemed dodgy. You are kind of stuck at the hotel...
For $50AU, it was a decent hotel. The dinner included was Spagetti, and though not big, it was enough. They did let me check in early. Staff could speak English. Pool, gym, library, restaurant. They arranged an Airport Shuttle for me

United StatesThere are no cushion pads and not cleaned on patio furniture, which is metal. There is no air conditioner in the room so makes for it to be very muggy. The surrounding area is a bite sketch and would recommend getting a taxi or using local ride share apps.
The rooms are nice sized, decent beds, and TV. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price. There is a gym and pool onsite. Overall, it is a good value for the price.

PolandNot much air in the rooms. Staff didn’t speak English at all, but it encouraged us to learn Spanish.
Friendly staff, spacious room, private bathroom, and really tasty food. Breakfast and dinner was included in the price which was great. Water in the swimming pool had perfect temperature. Everything in the hotel is built out of shipping containers, very smart! We loved little library with lots of books to read.

United KingdomAs I’ve said before, seat cushions in the bar / restaurant would make a big improvement as the metal furniture is rather uncomfortable and dangerous (sharp edges). Theres no ac, rooms have a weak ceiling fan but an extra standalone fan is provided although it is fixed head type I wish there was hot water but I know at this price that would not be possible :)
You can’t beat this place on price and service. Staff are friendly efficient and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the beds are ok. The food is perfectly fine for my needs. The small pool is a great bonus for a quick dip to cool down. One of the reasons I always come here was the free shuttle service. It’s not free anymore however it is still a very competitive price with the additional $10 each way to the airport or bus terminal

United KingdomThe main criticism is a the lack of air con. The staff kindly gave us a second fan, but I would happily pay more money for air conditioning. For this reason I’d say it’s best for a short stay. It would also be good if they invested in commercial gym equipment as most of the machines were in poor condition. Finally, more frequent pool cleaning would be great as the pool accumulated dead bugs and leaves from the trees above quite quickly.
Amazing value hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the hotel was clean, the room was spacious and the food was delicious.

CanadaThe rooms were some of our hottest on the trip. The rooms. One fan in a double room wasn't enough. I am sure we could have asked for another, and got it no problem, as the staff was really nice, but we were just too tired! The neighborhood doesn't seem great, but if you are just in transit, or get a taxi to where you need to go or to catch a bus, it doesn't matter as it is all gated and housed under a huge building. I think it would be fine in the day as well.
The location was great for getting to the airport with a free shuttle and the second time we stayed we got a taxi easy to and from the hotel to the bus stations. The included dinner was so helpful when we arrived at 8pm with hungry kids and breakfast was convenient at 6:30 for our early departure. The pool was great for the kids to have a swim in the evening or early morning. It is a great place to stay if you are coming and going in and out of Managua.

United StatesNo AC really keeps their rating down. Even if they went up $25 and had AC it would still be worth it. Every guest had their door open with next to nothing on just to stay cool. Even the backpackers touring the country struggled with the 94F and 82F low temperatures without AC. Good news, right outside the gate there is a super small store with ice cold water and coke for cheap.
