The patio at El Belga Loco is beautiful. We loved relaxing there for a drink or a bite to eat.

This hotel is so cozy. The outdoor space is so well set up, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The property is located in the quieter side of the beach. Which means you won’t have to share the beach with too many people. The staff is wonderful, always attentive to your needs. The hotel does have bikes for you to move around the area. Or will help to arrange other forms of transportation for you.

While I like the little shop with clothes (bathing suits, shoes etc), perhaps some brands I saw are not the most sustainable or ethical even tough I understand the need of accessibility price-wise.

Very friendly staff, quiet, comfortable beds, free bike service, beach front! If you are looking for a place just to recharge, this is a great place to go! Wish I could stay longer.

The pool! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Rooms were comfortable. Pillows were the best I’ve experienced so far in Nicaragua! I would opt for the air condition rooms next time! Close to public transportation!

The on-site restaurant was closed. The price on Booking was given without taxes. With taxes it was a little bit expensive...

Nice pool. Restaurants, bars, stores are in walking distance. The on-site bar is 24 hours open. Laundry service! Big room, comfortable bed.

We were recommended by the staff to go and eat next door. We did and thought it was very disappointing. No big deal at first but next day we ordered lunch at hotel and realized (too late) their food comes from next door restaurant. There are plenty of other places around to eat that are good though.

Very relaxed, clean spot right at the beach. Friendly staff. Spacious room with 3 fans, didn't miss AC. Good breakfast and reasonably priced bar. Nice pool.

This is the only place we stayed where they charged for filter water to refill bottles. It is a little father away from the main section of the beach which was a bit busier but if you want the quieter end there are still some restaurants nearby we were often just the only ones there.

Room was very clean and a good size, we went for a room without aircon but it had 3 fans so was still cool. The staff were helpful. There are a couple of sunloungers and direct access to the beach. It is near to a number of restaurants. Good value breakfast each morning.

The basics were very expensive for the area. Coffee, water, beer! They could be more eco conscious and have the ten gallon water containers and self serve water glasses with a small increase in the room rate to cover the coat of water. That way they could cut down on plastic trash

Cold water: medium cold, no problem for us! No AC: correct, but three fans in the room also do the job! Very clean hostel. Even the public area’s are kept clean the whole day! Kind, friendly and helpfull staff!

This has been one of the best stays I've had in a very long time. The facilities are beautiful but what made this place stand out is the staff. Everyone takes so much ownership of the place and go above and beyond to make me feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed. Whatever I asked for they’re would have a solution or recommendation. I can't say enough if El Belga Loco. Next time I'm in town this is where I'll stay! Highly recommended

Beautiful hotel, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Pool is a nice size and great to cool off in the heat. All the team are very friendly and helpful. right on the beach so great access to the sea and lovely spot to watch the sunset. A 15/20 min walk from the busier part of town but I enjoyed that as not far and meant you got to stay in a more peaceful place. they let you hire bikes for free which I thought was lovely.

The staff was so friendly. We felt so welcome and at 'home'. They also helped us with arranging a taxi to our next stop, even during the busy 'Holy week'. The location was perfect. With a walk on the beach you could go to all the other restaurants (when you would like to eat outside) Another fun thing, they named all the rooms to a famous Belgum beers.

I highly recommend El Belga Loco. It is situated beach front in Las Penitas and has a wonderfully maintained pool area that is equipped with swings, hammocks, lounge chairs and rockers. The rooms as well as the entire property is impeccably clean. The AC is the room was great and beds were comfortable. The owners and staff were very kind, accommodating and helped us w shuttles and day plans. You will enjoy your stay!

the only thing that was really confusing was that our friends with their camper van weren’t allowed to get breakfast as they were no guests. a billboard at the street offered a breakfast deal, not saying that it’s just for guests. and there weren’t much people on this they… but anyways, everything else was really nice.
