We are a bit annoyed as we have been receiving mails from booking.com saying we did not check in or stay there at all. We definitely did stay, so we are a bit confused and hoping we will not be charged for not showing up.

- No filtered water - Location feels a bit out of the way, but it is walkable - Only two toilets/showers so sometimes had to wait

The room was small, no outside window, just one on the corridor. And it was extremely hot in the room.

The guy at the reception is nice. We appreciated to have towels. Shared bathrooms are cleaned. Good breakfast. Be aware that it is served from 7:30am, so you can’t leave soon for a fresh hike.

The shower ran constantly- it was more than just a drip but it wasn’t possible to turn it off fully.

Really friendly staff. Aircon available for $10 per night in the private room which was a necessity with the heat in Leon! Free breakfast prepared for you every morning. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Front desk is manned 24/7 and staff were really kind and friendly.

Two showers and toilets between how many people? Doors left open to invite in mosquitoes and other creepy crawlies. Planting may encourage mosquitoes, the toilets were always inundated with them.

Great location being a couple of blocks away from the historic centre. Great staff, knowledgeable and helpful. A good breakfast is cooked every morning (choice of two options)

If you're not keen on cold showers, then you won't like it. However, Leon can get really hot so a coldish shower is more than welcome.

Staff super friendly and helpful! Breakfast was good, you could choose between a typical meal with rice, eggs and cheese or pancakes with bananas. The room had a bathroom inside, which was ideal. And the location is also great, just a couple of blocks from the main Square and just half a block from the museum. Great deal for 12 dollars!

It's not really a place to hangout, socialize or connect with people. There are no common activities, that's why I left after one night to somewhere else.

Cozy with good beds. Rooms had lockers and fans. Place was clean and chill. The breakfast of pancakes and bananas was small but fine. Staff was friendly.

We had a no AC room which was an absolute killer - we could barely sleep at night even with the little fan, and the bed would make loud screeching very loudly with the slightest movement which I've never experienced before in hostels

The staff was very helpful with everything. It's only a few blocks from the center and there is a big supermarket nearby. Enjoyed the hangout spaces too. One of the cleanest places I stayed at in a while! They clean the bathroom meticulously like every other hour.

It is a small building, so they don't have the space to install a nice area for people to chill and socialize (Hammocks, for example). There are two picnic tables outside, but you wouldn't really use them when you want to relax.

The dorm was big, with big lockers for every bed. There were also fans for every bed. The hostel has a nice kitchen too, and they serve a good breakfast every morning. It is very close to all the main attractions in Leon. It was low season when I visited so the hostel was pretty quiet, but the staff was really nice and made my time there fun!

There was nowhere to hang our clothes or towels. Literally no hangers or hooks. A mirror in the room would also be a good addition. The photos don't show how dirty the walls were.

The location was excellent. Only a couple blocks away from the main square. It's a bit run down. There's no AC but there are fans in the room. They include towels and soap which is nice. Breakfast was decent and they worked with us since my husband has celiac. The staff was incredibly helpful though.

there is not enough ventilation and even with the fan directed towards you, you will still sweat tremendously! did not sleep well because of the heat.

Communal spaces were limited and small, and there were few bathrooms/showers between a lot of people, which occasionally meant several people were waiting to use them.

Friendly and helpful staff, and I could arrange tours through them too. Small but functional kitchen to cook meals and the included breakfast every morning was simple but nice. Dorms had sockets and lockers for each bed & several fans to share in the space. Decent location, a short walk to the town centre and many amenities.

Cockroach in the bathroom, lack of electrical outlets throughout the hostel (and at least on upper bunk beds) made it very inconvenient.

I arrived late (11pm) after a long shuttle and the person who checked me in showed me to my bed which was made but didn’t have a sheet. When I asked for one I was told no, meaning I had to sleep in clothes for means of privacy (which was very uncomfortable given how hot it is at night in Leon). The next morning I asked a different member of staff if they had sheets and was given one without any issues, and they seemed surprised that I wasn’t given one the prior night. This is the only reason I marked down the rating as it made my first night after a very long day of travelling less comfortable than it should have been

The staff was not that helpful and very strict. my friend had been feeling bad and she came 3 min late to the included breakfast, and they were still cooking, but they refused to give her breakfast. also you can not use the kitchen until very late.

everything was great except when you are tall a bit and you keep on hitting your head on the main entrance door of the hostel which i think they should either change or put a sign to pay attention
