The most beautiful and relaxing space. Rooms were stylish and bathroom was lovely. Common spaces were brilliant to relax in, and we loved our breakfast. The hosts were super accommodating and helped with storing our bags and ordering us a taxi to the airport

Nothing that we didn’t like but just be aware that you’ll need a scooter or car to get around if you want to go further than walking distance.

We loved everything about our stay! The bungalows are cute, beautifully designed and very clean. The owners are super nice and helpful with everything and contributed a lot to our positive experience. Another bonus is that the beach is in close walking distance and the common area at the hotel is nice too. Would definitely 10/10 recommend!

I will be disappointed when more development comes in. It is rural in a way that I like, now.

The breakfast is great. The French family that hosts, Luanne, Sasha, and Claire are terrific. The property is fresh and relaxing. A 5 minute walk to the beach.

The listing does not do this place justice. It’s an incredible oasis to come back to after exploring the beaches of Popoyo. The owners running the lodge were super warm and friendly and it really felt like a welcome into their home. The pool was pretty awesome for lounging around and swimming, and you can see a sky full of stars above you at night. You can really see the meticulousness that went into the design of this lodge. The cabana was perfectly laid out, super clean and comfortable. The private bathroom was amazing with a great hot shower. The hosts helped us with many questions that we had about the area and even arranged a private transfer back to Managua. It really felt like home here.

Tasteful functional decor. A little oasis in a local neighborhood. 5 min walk to the beach. Refreshing private swimming pool. Bed mattress was supportive. Very Attentive helpful hosts.

This place is definitely a 10 out of 10. The casitas are beautiful and even have a hot shower. The swimmingpool surrounded by palmtrees and hammocks are the perfect ingredients to relax. The owners and staff are amazing, breakfast is great and beach is close by. Absolutely nothing to complain.

Paradise setting!! Sasha and Claire were wonderful hosts and the breakfast is the best I’ve had in all of Nicaragua, didn’t want to leave!

A fantastic stay. The cabana’s are cool, comfortable and stylish. Pool area is tranquil, with lots of shady spaces to relax. There’s a great kitchen if you want to cook and the breakfasts were really fresh and tasty. A few minutes walk from a scenic beach. Highly recommended.

Popoyo is remote, so surfing is the only thing to do. the pool was a but small but ok. (towels probably only changed on request)

This place is a little paradise! Every detail is made with love, from the furniture till the craft beers. You can feel the passion behind it. Sacha and Clara are very helpful, fun and always there for you. If something didn‘t work out (what can happen in Nicaragua) the try to fix it immediately and reliably!

What a place! So friendly, so clean, so good. Monoloko is nicely designed with amazing details everywhere you look. The common areas and swimming pool are a perfect place to relax, the location is close to the beach, good access to multiple surf spots. The hosts are super friendly, nice & helpful and make the whole experience of staying here a real pleasure.

Architectural design built into the local landscape in a peaceful and humble way. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Joy the manager so kind and informed on local knowledge made you feel safe and welcomed to Monoloko. I also liked that you have access to the amazing kitchen so you can make your own food.

My husband and I spent a week at Monoloko - we loved the layout of the property and the quiet space it provided. The relaxed environment was exactly what we needed. The pool area was a bit for us!
