Tapihouse is an exceptional place to stay. Its location, comfort, kitchen equipment, everything is great. but the best is the kind and helpful staff Katy and Enrique. We stayed here twice during our two months in Nicaragua. When we came back the second time, we were welcomed like family. We had a deluxe room with the biggest and most comfortable bed in our life. we recommend it to everyone!

The wifi doesn't work in the room (or at least it didn't in ours), only outside. The water pressure in the room was terrible (but it is great in the outside shower 👌)

The staff was great, super friendly and helpful. Also the owners were very friendly and helpful. It's quiet if that's what you're looking for. The breakfast was very nice and you have access to the kitchen whenever you like, there's also a fridge full with beverages you can buy.

Excellent small family run guesthouse. Close to the beach, quiet, great ac and wifi, secure and great kitchen and chill out areas. We have stayed previously, easily the best value stay in Las Peñitas as far as we are concerned. Owners and staff very accommodating.

Maybe because of the season: there were A LOT of mosquitos. So make sure to pack you bug spray.

It is a nice deal. The place is quiet so you can rest but you are close to the places you can party at. There are bikes you can take for free to move around Las Peñitas.

Everything was great. We had a small problem with the aircon on the last night but as soon as we spoke to staff it was sorted out!

The staff are so great, really friendly and helpful. Location is amazing- next to the beach and close to everything. Free use of bikes, tasty breakfast, good space to hang out in the courtyard. + a plunge pool to cool off. Bedroom was very comfortable and clean.

Really nice grounds, patio and hammocks. The free use bikes were very handy for grocery runs and runs to other parts of the beach as well as restaurants in the evening. The lady that manages the place is so very nice The breakfast was the best I had since I came to Nicaragua and she made it 30 mins earlier than scheduled for me as I had to catch an early bus

The shower was hardly working and the bed mattrass is kinda hard.

the location is very good, right next to the beach! the room is comfortable with a good working AC. Kathy is the nicest person and makes the best breakfast!!! She was amazingly helpfull and made our stay so good. We also did our laundry here and that was the best so far in the whole of Nicaragua!

The host originally tried to put us in a room that did not look that the room we booked. It was small and smelt of damp and we refused it. They then offered the room that we booked - so be cognisant of this and make sure you get the room that is advertised on Booking.com! The properties location was not great, but it’s only a 15-20 minute walk on the beach to get to the main attractions. In addition, we thought the property was a bit pricey, but I guess every property is pricey in Nicaragua for the quality you get (in comparison to other properties in alternative Latin American countries).

This is the only property in Nicaragua that we stayed at that had A/C - this is why we booked the property so we could escape the heat for two days. Overall the property was great, spacious, clean, it had a nice breakfast and the hammocks were a nice touch. We tried to extend our stay, but it was fully booked.

I liked everything.

Superb place to stay, the facilities are clean, and the common kitchen is very well equipped. Comfortable chairs and hammocks outside the rooms are great places to relax and read a book or work. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come back.
