The girl in the front desk could have been more helpful and informed us of the different amenities. Certain employees were excellent others weren't. For example, we were the only ones at the restaurant in the evening but we had to go look for our waiter to be attended.

The hotel itself is beautiful and amazing, the pool was great and the food was delicious. The free shuttle was great as well. The gentleman in the front desk was extremely helpful.

Wednesday at the pool facilities was ridiculously crowded. We read online that it's free for day pass on Wednesday and people definitely took advantage. Seems weird to have so many outside people that it makes the people paying for the hotel not enjoy the facilities. It was way too crowded. We were there during the holidays.

Pool is amazing and great fun. The food was also very good. I expected a nice pool, the rooms and overall hotel was nicer than I expected. We had a great experience and I would recommend to stay here.

As we paid almost $1000 for 4 nights, we would have liked a sun lounger by the pool each day. But there are so many day guests and not enough sun loungers, so we had nowhere comfortable to sit. Music by the pool is like being in a nightclub, speakers are ridiculously loud so we felt like we were in a cheap resort. Taxes and tip add an extra 25% to everything you buy to eat or drink, which makes the menu pretty expensive. Our bed and whole bedroom was COVERED in flies - they were helpful in getting the room cleaned but there should be measures in place to prevent this. The price we paid vs the experience we had just unfortunately didn’t match up.

Beautiful and well kept grounds. Free shuttles to town/beach are useful - the beach they took us to was beautiful (but not private). Drinks (especially the smoothies and juices) are delicious. Filling breakfast.

The front desk staff need customer service training. The prices are more than you'd expect to pay in Nicaragua.

This is a great place to hang out with the family for a few days. Our room was huge with everything you need including a big comfy king size bed. The pool area is excellent and the place is very well maintained and beautifully planted. The food is amongst the best we tasted in Nicaragua and the waiting staff in the restaurant were also incredibly friendly and attentive.

On the site is says is close to the beach. The beach was not near at all . You have to walk down the hill about 6 miles to get to the beach. . Not close at at or take a shuttle bus that will taken about 20 min to get to the beach . If you are looking to be closer to the beach I would not recommend to stay here .

This property is located up in the mountains . Very peaceful if you are looking to just relax .

i was staying there one night and we came earlier to the place, girls on the reception allowed us to come inside which was nice but I didn’t like that no one let us know that you can go to the beach only twice per day at 9 am and 2 pm. So as a person that loves beach i was a bit disappointed because in the end we were able to use beach only the next day before check out. Also you can’t go to that beach on your car so you have to tell whoever is on the reception that you want to go and they have to put you on the list. Good that I checked with the other person on the reception in the evening because the girl that was helping us didn’t put us on the list even tho I repeated to her that couple of times. Also hotel gave us not the room i was booking. It was supposed to be double room. In the end we got one room. We had no view from the room even tho on booking it says that we will. And then the same girl on the reception was trying to convince me that I misunderstood. And the last, when we were visiting, the group of yoga people booked rooms at the same time that we were there and they requested that no men allowed to walk near their rooms ( from the words of the guard person) which was crazy. Because i wanted to walk on the property with my brother and the guard stopped us and told us that we have to come back because of that weird request. Owners should treat all their guests equal. I love the place but I don’t think ill ever come back there

The property is super nice and the service is matching my expectations for the price i paid.

The advertised hikes & horse rides proved a little difficult to organise. Unfortunatly they would also not let you hike without a guide. As there was only one guide and he had an injury this was far from ideal. Wasnt the end of the world though - i just perched up by the pool instead!

Staff were all exceptional. Super polite and attentive.

Because it’s out of the town and away from any stores, etc it should have some quick snack options available. Restaurant food was really good, but a quick grab spot would be good. A hot tub would be nice!

There is only one pool area available for all guests next to the restaurant with loud music. There were a lot of playing kids and limited sunbeds. We intended more a romantic calm weekend. Also the private beach of the hotel needs shuttle. On our check out we found out there is another very nice pool with amazing view in the upper area of the resort. Unfortunately only for private events. I would have wished this would be an adults only pool for all guests. To sum up, the resort is nice but not ideal for a relaxing couple get-away.

The infrastructure, the food, the stuff and the activities are really nice. It was also very clean in the rooms and the restaurant. We booked an extra couple massage which we enjoyed a lot. We stayed in one of the houses which was very big, had a nice balcony and a very comfortable bed with good AC.

Construction right next door started at 7:50 AM (ask not to be near construction.) I was not aware that majority of visitors are day pass guests that take up sun beds and takeover all the facilities. Could be nice to have sun beds with umbrellas and to have exclusive areas for guests. Maybe one swimming pool and some exclusive sunbeds would be nice. Otherwise consider it as a hotel and public pool with great activities for families with free guest access.

The water slide, pools. and diving area were incredible. Food was excellent with good options. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the location nestled away in nature. Grounds are stunning. And of course the "standard king room" is a full size suite / 1 bedroom apt!

They didn’t have our reservation from booking.com. Then put us in a room and while on an excursion the next day, moved all of our things to another room. This room had poor air compared to the first room. We couldn’t use the pool or restaurant on Saturday due to a wedding. Went to the beach and waited on a shuttle as instructed that never came. Had to then pay for a taxi to get back. Really felt inconvenienced the entire trip instead of at ease and they only offered to pay for the taxi after the scheduled shuttle didn’t run. Also, we could not sleep Saturday night because the wedding music was so loud it made our entire room shake.

    The property was well kept

Blaring bad music on repeat at the pool. No avoiding it given the location of speakers at every spot. Headache inducing. Low cost day passes meant pool area crowded with local families, contributing to the overall stressful environment (eg kids water bombing). Then they removed lounge chairs at 3pm as a wedding took over the pool and dining area for the rest of the day. With bad music (again!) blaring and reverberating throughout the resort until 2am making sleep impossible. They really don’t care about the comfort of guests. So glad we’re only staying 1 night. Awful experience despite being the most we’ve paid for a hotel in Nicaragua. Food is good but pointless when no comfort or relaxation in a resort that is in an isolated location (like only dining space and yet taken over by a wedding from Mid-afternoon). Avoid avoid avoid.

It is a bit hard to drive up to but not bad once you have done it once. When it rains the walkways get very slippery especially if you are wearing flip flops. Took a bad tumble down a few steps and left with some bad bruises. This is a consideration if people have mobility concerns or any prior medical concerns.
