  “We spent a night here on our way home from Bavaria. Villa Augustus was oustanding in every respect - a most interesting conversion from a serries of water management buildings set in a beautiful formal park (to the north) and exquisite vegetable garden (to the south). Reception was most attentive, room and beds very comfortable, the food excellent. Couldn't fault it. We thought Villa Augustus is a destination in its own right.”

  “Nice breakfast. The bar was ok. Cleaniness was very good. Most of the staff was very friendly. For our part the location was ok close to the old town. Quiet room even when it was at the ground floor and against a busy street.”
