The digital key did not work as it should, we did not receive it on time - but the staff made up for that little detail by making sure we would get to our room.

It was unfortunate that we were given the room in the basement overlooking the road. that meant that we couldn't open any windows and the room was sruffy

The room has a very nice decoration, the whole hotel gives you a aesthetic atmosphere. The breakfast was very tasty and there is a little shop. We really enjoyed our stay and we certainly will book here again! We stayed at the Monumental+ room.

Not suitable for people who have disabilities. The stairs are a death trap.

Everything was done with impeccable attention to detail. The reception/ café/ boutique staff were very helpful and polite. Probably had one of the best cortado in my life. The room was cosy and the linen of the bed were stunning. Extra points for the hand written note to welcome us. The signature scent of the hallway was much appreciated.

Nothing, I had a great stay.

The room was a dream! Bed was huge and super comfy, the whole room smelled amazing and had a beautiful city view. The shower and bath were my favourite though, seriously probably the best shower of my life, with such nice shampoo and conditioner that smelled lovely. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a zen night!

Good location at the heart of city with convenient transportation of Metro, bus and tram stations as well as there are lots of different restaurants & bars around. Hotel Âme is a new and stylish hotel with great amenities, spotlessly clean. Daily freshly, healthy delicious food served by the hotel restaurant. The beautiful hotel is managed by a professional team. The hotel owner is very friendly. The hotel manager is very cheerful and helpful with an excellent world-class service delivery.

Truely one of the most beautiful, simple stays i've ever experienced. Very easy to reach, staff were wonderful even though I didn't get to meet them. Late check in and early check out was easily accomodated. Absolutely love the design and care taken to meet sustainability expectations. Wish i could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back again.

Absolutely beautiful place! and such friendly staff. good vibes all around. Every corner is detailed elegantly but minimally. In our room the ceiling was gorgeous with the original designs. We ordered in room service and the meals were so tasty. They also have decaf cappuccino which is hard to come by in Rotterdam!

Although beautiful and amusing, the stairs were troublesome, specially if you’re going out a lot during your stay. Doesn’t ruin the experience at all though.

Been to many hotels, this one is hands down the most unique. Its minimalistic zen design is absolutely wonderful that you’d find yourself not wanting to leave your room. The staff were great as well, incredibly nice and welcoming.

There is nothing I don’t like (well, it will be selfish but it would be great if the cafe opens a bit early because every time I need to leave at 7am and missing those fresh croissants!)

Hotel Ame is my home in Rotterdam. As a frequent traveller, I need a place that I can trust and Hotel Ame is that place. Natalia and her team are doing an exceptional job. I like the clean design of the rooms, also the great cafe downstairs.

I missed a cup in the bathroom to put my tooth paste and tooth brush. Yes the stairs is steep and long but since I wasn’t doing any exercise those days I enjoyed going up and down the stairs. I always confused the shower carpet for the hand towel. A different place for the hand towel after daily cleaning would be great. A bigger cup for tea in the room would also be great!

I loved the location, the big comfortable room, the Brazilian cleaning staff, the simple but fabulous breakfasts in the morning, the fact that I could make a tea in the morning or evening and the coffee place downstairs in general. The technology to open and close doors is fast and never had an issue. Thank you so much management for the room upgrade. I loved it! Definable coming back!

The energy of the people who work there. It is more and more difficult to meet in my travels hotel owners who are so professional and at the same time so genuinely welcoming.In this wonderful place there is this balance .Of course the aesthetics and comfort come to complete what I consider an ideal place.

the noisy streets and the noise in the hotel

the interior is sereen and very tasteful minimalistic decorated, that gives you a peaceful feeling while you’re staying in a quite busy noisy location in the middle of a perfect city location. I had the monumental room, that was on the side of the busy road. so it was quite noisy. it’s an old historic building, so you can hear people in the hallway or other guests above you from the ceiling. But nonetheless I will still rate this hotel high, cause it’s perfectly facilitated by taste. I also loved the cafe downstairs. in the morning you can smell the smell of the baked pastries in your room. loved it !

There is not much to not like. But there is some room for improvements. So here is my careful criticism: - there is no free plug at the desk, so working there with a laptop that needs to be charged is somewhat inconvenient - there is a plug on the wall but the sofa is standing in the middle of the room. So when you want to work there and charge your laptop you have to sit a bit uncomfortable. Ideally bring your extending cable, that will do the trick - adding a matching upholstered pouf (or foot-rest) to the sofa, would be such a plus. The sofa is too short to lay down - additional alternative pillows would be great. I thought the ones provided were a bit thick. Great quality and perfect to support your back when reading in bed, but less ideal to sleep on (obviously and totally a matter of personal taste) - a bluetooth speaker would be amazing

First things first: if you are considering booking this place then do it this instant! No way you'll find something nicer. I loved my stay at hotel Âme so much! Stayed a total of 4 nights and would always come back without second thought. After exhausting and hectic days, I was so much looking forward to relax in the superb room every evening. Huge and very comfortable bed from CocoMat, great shower & bathroom, everything so beautifully minimal decorated. The politeness of the hosts. The great café upstairs... the little cake and personal note I found on my desk one evening.

the stairs can be a challenge with suitcases, be careful because they are very narrow. I wouldn’t recommend to a person of age or children.
