The shower glass isn't wide enough and causes a puddle of water in front of the toilet

The comfort room was a great size and it was very quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good, with a hot option included. Great location

Bathroom lights were nice and bright. The bedroom lights too dim for us even when we followed instructions to keep pressing after switching on. I would also have liked hooks to accommodate a full length coat in the bedroom. I had to hang my raincoat in the bathroom with the dressing gowns. But it wasn’t a big issue. Breakfast was fine except for the coffee machine which was rubbish to be honest. The bar later provided us with really nice coffee. But there were plenty of juices etc so we were happy enough.

Not a major thing, but there was little space for a toilet bag in the bathroom. For the rest there is actually nothing I did not like. Perhaps there could be a bit more ambiance in the bar at night.

It was a brilliant location and a very nice setting. There was ample parking space but you have to reserve. The breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Stay here while you're in Delft. It's an easy walk to the Markt and other attractions. The hotel is new although very old. The rooms are charmingly minimalist and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and served in such a pleasant setting. Staff were knowledgeable and personable.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic. My wife requested hot food - scrambled eggs and a grilled tomato. However, when our order arrived, the tomato was whole and not cooked properly. They were both served in small bowls, which made the situation even more strange. As a result, we decided to stick to the continental breakfast options after that. Nonetheless, it was still a pleasant breakfast overall.

Lovely converted building, right in the heart of Delft. The rooms are very comfortable.

Our visit to Hotel Arsenaal was fantastic and an experience we will treasure for a very long time. The building is stunning and beautifully restored and the interior is a mix of modern design and old building something that enhances the history of the grand building. Everything about the hotel was fantastic. The location is ideal for exploring charming Delft. The hotels car park was a great bonus for guests like us who traveled by car. The room was stunning. The little fridge was a great asset. The bed was super comfy and the room was spotless. The breakfast was delicious. Best of all, however, is Hotel Arsenaals wonderful staff: Friendly, welcoming, kind, helpful and smiley and great knowledge about things to see and do. They worked wonders. Absolute superstars. We will definitely be visiting again next time we come to Delft.

This review has been hidden because it doesn't meet our guidelines.

The primary reason we'd hesitate to stay there again was the breakfast. We really expected better at a 4-star hotel. Limited slection of cheeses, fruit, breads, teas. The scrambled eggs were inedible and the hard boiled eggs were cold. The granola was stale. The only fresh veges were tomatoes and cukes. I enjoyed the croissants, however. Another thing, the heater was not on in the room and it took 2 days for them to fix it, although the hotel did provide a space heater in the interim.

A beautiful facility in a great setting. Very helpful and responsive staff. We were fortunate to stay in one of the few 2nd floor rooms overlooking the canal. Eating breakfast at a table next to the canal was also very special.

We found the staff kind but a bit cold. It is a personal opinion, but when I check-in I expect a staff member to come with us and tell us where to go. They gave us the keys and let us there. Okay. We asked for some info, they seemed a bit irritated because we did not speak very well Dutch, and we were trying to understand. Maybe a bit more courtesy and kindness wouldn't hurt, especially from a 4 stars hotel. Nevertheless, hands down the best hotel in Delft.

Breakfast service areas were rather spread out; coffee/tea and juice/milk/other drinks were at one end of a long room by the bar, the buffet was far at the other end. We had to look for staff to place any hot breakfast orders.

Very interesting old military building with warehouse type structure, lots of character. The placing of the rooms layout and communal sitting areas on the upper floors of this big space was clever, utilising the space well, very soundproof both to inside and outside noise. And still, in each room there was something of the old, a beam going across the ceiling, old style windows, view out to a canal, good size rooms and sitting area, modern shower and toilet. There is a lift to the upper floors. Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast choices. Walking distance to the center of Delft and the train station. We liked that there was a no prepayment option.

Only one thing …. no heated towel rail in the bathroom

A beautiful hotel, full of character, with good sized rooms and spotlessly clean. Lovely ambience throughout. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, and were all very friendly and professional. Food at Breakfast was superb. Highly recommend.

This a a superb hotel. It's in the old arsenal building. Inside it has retained the old wooden beams, but the hotel is so comfortable and stylish. Staff are friendly and attentive. The bedroom has a huge bed that is so comfortable. The room is incredibly quiet so I slept well, yet it is right in the centre of old Delft. Lovely breakfast, and beautiful ambience. The hotel breakfast area are has huge windows so you can have a table right by the canal. I loved this hotel, one of the best I have stayed in.
