Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandI appreciate all equipment in the room. It was small , but sufficient for me. I had all I needed. Staff was very helpful in any of my questions/requests. I appreciate recomendations for breakfast - Coconuts were the best, but Coffee and Beans also nice. Big minus for Locals. Great plus for the lift in the hotel - big surprise as for old part of the city.

Location is in the hart of Amsterdam, in a quiet street and close to everything what you want to discover in Amsterdam. We had a ground floor room with small garden, exceptional in Amsterdam. They don't serve breakfast, but the neighbourhood has so many nice coffee places, that it is even a advantage.

The hotel is located near many attractions on a quiet street. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with tiled works of Rembrandt and Vermeer. Great taste in everything AC outlets everywhere, but it doesn’t have a fridge, at least in my room. They have fridges with sodas, and snacks That you pay at the reception

Most comfortable bed I had out of ten different places I stayed on this trip. Large room with great workspace and even a small balcony. We were upgraded to their best room, so that won't necessarily always be the case.

United StatesOur micro singles got pretty warm at night, even for April. I can't imagine what that's like in the summer. There's a fan which helped a bit, and it's nice that the windows open. Housekeeping was regular, but varied day to day in terms of how much was freshened up. I don't have long hair, but I found it regularly in the bathroom for some reason.
Location was perfect for the price, across the street from Heineken and the metro. Hotel is super cute and the staff is very nice. They have little touches/gifts that make the visitors feel welcome. I liked the opportunity to get a very small room (pretty much a bed and a bathroom) to save a little money because we literally only needed the rooms to sleep. They're like dorm rooms. Definitely will consider again if we go back.

The hotel is located close to the center and the canals, on a quiet and pleasant street. I had a small single room and it was just enough for a short city break; the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, I needed nothing more. What is exceptional - it's the personnel, who gave me a very warm welcome: a cup of hot tea and a hot towel "for my freezing hands", which was just perfect on that cold and windy day. I did feel like a guest, not a customer.

United KingdomLocation! Free transportation via private shuttle van, also public metro train stop is right across the street. Hotel is centrally located to great museums, parks and restaurants. Hotel has refreshments (soda/coffee/water) in all buildings and main lobby along with snacks, very clean and the staff was extremely polite. Would stay here again!
