Great location, lovely family run hotel. Comfortable rooms, small seating area for hanging out, well-decorated and apportioned. Possible to walk to old town center - cafes and restaurants not far away. Close to Rijksmusuem and metro station. Would be great if they offered breakfast... that was the only thing missing.

No major dislikes. If we ever return to Amsterdam again would attempt to stay here (and in this room) again. However, we can see that weather plays a large role in satisfaction. If, in some future trip, we were confined to the room for 2-3 days because of cold/heavy rain we can see that we would be somewhat less satisfied because of lack of things such as in-room fridge or microwave. In such a case, we would have to dress for the outside, go across the street and down to the office, get food from the fridge, and prepare and eat it in the space they have available there. Not quite as convenient.

Location,- an easy walk (even for two older people using canes) to the hop on/off bus/boat (which we utilized every day of our stay here - more expensive then trams, but we didn't have to spend time learning the tram/bus routes) Rijksmuseum/Van Gogh museum, Pancake house, other local restaurants and stores. Quiet street, even on the King's birthday holiday. We stayed on the ground floor of the annex, across from and a few doors down from the office. Would have utilized back patio if weather had been warmer. Staff friendly and helpful. Were able to utilize fridge at office to store food items.

Room gets stuffy. I'm concerned about fire hazard and escape plans if such an event happens.

It’s cosy and the bathroom was separate to the room but this is well publicised.

Lovely family-run hotel in a great location. Easy to walk everywhere and it's on a quiet, leafy street. Staff are so helpful and nice - they even gave us a thank you gift when we left!

Location was very accessible— literally a block away from the metro and train stations. Room was very clean— even the towels smell so nice. Staff were so nice— helped me with directions and nice banter

The only defect is the noise from the other rooms and mainly for the shower

Very clean and pleasant. Located in a quiet neighborhood but with many restaurants around. Metro and tram stations at 100m. Albert Heinj supermarket at 100m. There is no breakfast available but you can use the facilites to prepare your own. Totallly recommendable

I appreciate all equipment in the room. It was small , but sufficient for me. I had all I needed. Staff was very helpful in any of my questions/requests. I appreciate recomendations for breakfast - Coconuts were the best, but Coffee and Beans also nice. Big minus for Locals. Great plus for the lift in the hotel - big surprise as for old part of the city.

Location is in the hart of Amsterdam, in a quiet street and close to everything what you want to discover in Amsterdam. We had a ground floor room with small garden, exceptional in Amsterdam. They don't serve breakfast, but the neighbourhood has so many nice coffee places, that it is even a advantage.

Just the fact there was no fridge in the rooms.

The hotel is located near many attractions on a quiet street. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with tiled works of Rembrandt and Vermeer. Great taste in everything AC outlets everywhere, but it doesn’t have a fridge, at least in my room. They have fridges with sodas, and snacks That you pay at the reception

Not something that I didn't like, because I knew beforehand it wasn't available, but I would like the option of having breakfast included. Maybe next time :).
