Nothing we didn’t like.

The location was nice and quiet but there is a nice restaurant and Spar close by in walking distance. Roermond is a 10 minutes drive away. Bathroom was great and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

The bathroom is really small and the toilet was not in the room. You had to go downstairs to use it, not very comfortable for elderly people or people with disabilities. However, it was not a big deal for us. Room was small and if you have many luggage there's no space to move around.

The place is quiet, just a few km outside of Roermond, easy to find. It has parking on site which is excellent. TV has plenty of national and international channels, including NETFLIX. You had free coffee and tea in the room.

Would have been great to have some soap and/ or shower amenities in the bathroom. Only a few hangers for clothing in the room so it would be handy for the room to have an extra furniture were the bags can be put onto.

The dogs. My husband was attacked unprovoked by the allegedly friendly three-legged bulldog. Three scratches down his body, a dirty and damaged t-shirt. Never again.

I feel deceived. The information on booking.com was misleading. My reservation promised 1 An en suite bathroom - which my room did have , but there was no toilet. It wasn’t expressly mentioned in the reservation. All the pictures provided by the property were with en suite bathrooms with toilets. The stair to the toilet wasn’t safe to use. The toilet was right next to the public dining area, which gave us no privacy in the morning and which I don’t find very hygienical in the time of COVID. 2 An air conditioner – which the room didn’t have. There was a heater which looked like an artificial fireplace which I didn’t even know how to operate. The room soon got freezing cold so I needed the heater on all the time but it kept turning on and off. 3 A dining area – we had none. In reality there was a hanging shelf with a kettle and a coffee machine. There was no room to boil water safely on the shelf. Not even a small table in the room! My daughter and I ended up boiling water in the bathroom and drinking tea on our laps. We had a horrible night – the light of the electric fireplace-heater kept us awake, the sound was really loud and the hot air into the face felt really unpleasant. The room had been prepaid so in the morning I asked to owner for at least a partial refund. I said that I will either have an agreement with her or will have to do it through booking.com. She took my words as blackmail. Here are her other comments: 1. The absence of the toilet was expressly mentioned on my reservation – It wasn’t! There are no pictures of rooms without an en suite toilet! 2. I cannot expect any luxury conditions for the small some of money I had paid. - It’s a three star bed and breakfast and an en suite toilet and a warm room a hardly luxury. 3. I could have used the dining area to drink tea . – There was a dining area advertised for the room, not for the B and B. 4. Normal people do not use the heater at night and can have a quiet sleep.

The location is good for the summer and the place is meant to be a summer rental home.

We had a lovely stay. The owner and her family were very friendly and professional. The room was spacious and super quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Easy to park the car. Close access to Roermond and surroundings. Would definitely lik to return!
