How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very nice and clean, second time and recommended. Breakfast is good and kitchen to be able to cook in the evening. Just keep in mind it is a bit out the centre

I was told that visitors weren't allowed. It was a bit of a downer but I was overall satisfied with my stay.
I love the peace and quiet you get when staying there. The price was very good for what I received. The stafc were friendly and ever helpful. I loved it and would consider going back on my next trip.

unfortunately you do hear every door close and other rooms so sound insulation is poor but otherwise this is a good place to stay.
nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The room was clean and nice. I like that the B&b business supports a mental health charity. Breakfast was also good.

Only the location let the place down as it was slightly further out of the centre but that can’t be helped. The view of the forest/park was nice and tranquil. Nice and quiet atmosphere
Staff were exceptional, amenities exceeded expectations for that price. Facilities were great. Breakfast had lots of variety and catered for everyone. Bonus points for the coffee and tea selection. Rooms were comfy and big enough. Very good value for money.

My bed sheets were dirty as well as the pillow covers. Mattress was too stiff for me. I didn't complain on the spot because I just wanted to sleep as I had been skating all day
Breakfast was pretty good, loved the towels and robes and also the shampoo bottles. The blackout curtains were nice too

The bed in my room was extremely uncomfortable. The property is located on the grounds of a mental health clinic and is quite remote, no shops or restaurants in the area.
Breakfast was good and the staff very nice and polite.

Not a problem, but you need to keep in mind that check-in is possible only till 21:30.
Stayed for one night before flight. The room was cozy and good equipped. Shared WC was super clean! I liked the kitchen the most: you can get all you want to prepare your meal, and there is a possibility for unlimited tea and coffee :)

The rooms are situated along the wide hallway which was quite busy (in the middle there was a reception desk). My room was the first one from the main door and I could hear everyone going in and out. Toilets and bathroom were on the opposite side and to take a shower you had to walk all the way in.
The hotel was well-maintained, clean, located outside the city center in a green area (only 5 km from the airport). There was a permanent access to the kitchen (including the coffee corner). I needed to leave before a breakfast and the staff prepared a takaway breakfast box for me, which was very kind.

Pretty far from the city centre. No lift which might be a problem if you carry heavy luggage. Rooms don't have bathrooms.
Access to the kitchen 24/7. Quiet neighbourhood. Possibility to rent comfortable bikes in a good price in the hotel.

I asked if I could have my breakfast a little bit earlier (15 minutes earlier) because of my early flight. However, my request was declined
The property was very clean. There was a kitchen, fridge and a coffee machine. My room was very tidy. I’m sure that I would enjoy a longer stay, as I was there only for one night. I definitely recommend.

Steep stairs and no lift - be prepared for lifting if with suitcase as me. Soundproofing was not optimal. It is 10 minutes walk to the bus stop and the bus to the central station in town only comes every 30 minutes so make sure you know when that is.
Nice interior and equipment, great full breakfast, great rent of bicycle for 5€ a day.
