Poor sound isolation turned out to be an issue. Noisy neighbors disrupted my sleep at night and early in the morning. Credit card payment would be more convenient than cash or bank transfer.

The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. Comfortable location with parking.

On arrival I could not get parked, the public "free parking" was full which meant I had to quickly unload the car and move it to a pay car park (field opposite the hotel), then later I had to move the car as the car park shuts at 11pm, it costs 4 Euros for one day (ie no free parking). I was given my room keys and found the the room was not clean (toilet not clean, debris/hair on the carpet in the bedroom) which I reported and this was cleaned whilst I moved the car. I later saw hairs in bed (not many) and that the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied after the previous guest. The room was exteremely hot (it was a very hot day, there are no shutters or blinds to keep the heat or light out, no fan for the room, thin curtains are in place). There is a fridge in the wardrobe but the ice compartment leaked water. The room was dusty and generally tired looking (and so does the staircase). The shower room is small with a narrow door as access, WC very close to the wall, the shower head was full of limescale and the holder for the shower head broken, the shower curtain and flooring are discoloured. Strange odour in the room, not sure what it was or where it came from. After a bad nights sleep (due to the heat) I left without the breakfast and I would not wish to return due to the cleanliness issues.

The location is good for the beach and restaurants.

The building joinery( windows, doors) and the ventilation system of the bathrooms is very old, and wasn't reconditioned with the entire building.The insulation of the doors and windows was missing or falling apart.The wind from outside was literally blowing under the windows and through the ventilation system. The heating wasn't working. Despite the fact that we received an extra blanket, we slept with 3-4 layers of clothing and we were still frozen in the morning.

Relaxing and clean room, super comfy bed with duvets, tons of towels provided, There were many electrical outlets, way more than I have seen in hotel rooms. Our little dog was allowed to stay with us which meant alot to us, she is only one year old and we did not want to put her in a kennel. The breakfast was really great, good coffee is so important to start the day. Cereal, toast, croissants, meats and cheese, boiled eggs, sausage and pancake, jams and spreads, milk and juice, tea too. Yogurts and bananas and oranges. Something for everyone to enjoy ! Parking was free and right in front of this wonderful homey hotel. Staff was super friendly, and we relaxed and enjoyed the village. We tried 4 different restaurants, and loved them all. Wifi is strong and the tv worked, but I didnt watch much tv, I was walking on the beach with my little dog. Everyone was having a lovely weekend and was so friendly. I plan to stay here again next time I am visiting the Amsterdam area. For history buffs, there are many WWII bunkers (part of the Atlantic Wall) to be seen on pretty easy hikes around this area. Thank you Badhotel Zeecroft for such a lovely holiday weekend!

I had a room with a view to the main entrance. There was a small lake. Did not expect frogs to croak in the middle of the night. At least you have a feeling you are camping 😃

It's a lovely hotel close to the beach and city center. The room was clean and a lot of TV channels available. Breakfast is simple, but fresh. For the prize i paid i would definitely recommend this hotel.
