Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The staff was kind and gave a water kettle for some tea upstairs. The bathroom seemed very new, which was nice and clean. The beds were comfy and I didnt hear much from the two roads next to the hotel.

GermanyThe location is far and also very confusing to get to the hotel on foot, especially in a cold winter weather. The windows aren't 100% shut, you could hear cars outside passing by. the bed isn't the most comfortable for some people, i have bad pain, so fluffy or weak mattresses make the night sleep uncomfortable.
The room clean and spacious, really nice bathroom too. The reception area has a pool which i found to be cool. I like that the staff don't have to stand in the reception all day and have a room to be inside, whenever you need them, hit the bell and they come out. Very thoughtful

United KingdomSlightly awkward to get to on foot (essentially on an island between two roads) but once done, easy to find.
Staff very helpful; booking a taxi, providing a kettle (you need to request it, and this is clearly signed at the desk), and, as we had bought a picnic to each in our room, we needed cutlery which they were happy to provide. Nijmegen Goffert train station within easy walking distance though route a little tricky the first time. Not alot of restaurants in the area, but a Lidl and Coop close by (didn't eat in the hotel, though many were and the food looked reasonable). Very convenient for the nearby park and Goffertstadion. Shiny new fitness room. Big walk in shower. Great views from 5th floor. Comfortable bed.

South AfricaOverall there wasn't anything to really dislike, I would say that the rooms were quite stuffy and the bathroom extractor wasn't working or wasn't working very well at the time, but those were small things as there was an aircon and the windows can open.
I like the facilities they had, like the pool table, vending machine, restaurant and gym. The room was very clean and had all the amenities you'd expect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also liked that you were able to park inside.
