My husband and I rolled into Leiden on our bikes and had the absolute pleasure of checking into this amazing quaint boutique hotel. The individual at the main desk who greeted us and checked us in was great to deal with, and upon entering our room (the loft at the very top), we were beyond pleased. There were several stairs but the climb was so worth it!!! So much space, bright and exceptionally clean, decorated tastefully and well, and so comfortable. The suite had a Nespresso, kettle, fridge, microwave, and all the necessary amenities. In addition, the provided toiletries were lovely!! This place absolutely exceeded all of our expectations, and we would definitely book back here again when traveling through. It's absolutely fabulous!!!

The walk from the train station was a little long - 20 to 25 minutes.

Breathe was a comfortable and modern hotel. It was really nice to have a refrigerator and other kitchen equipment in our room. Even though the bathroom was small it was was well appointed with nice shampoo and body wash. The manager and other staff were friendly and very willing to help us navigate Leiden and this neighborhood. There were good beds. Breakfast was plentiful, healthy and a little pricey.

Decor and calm atmosphere in the room and the Chromecast on the TV. Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, and sink was so helpful. Many sockets to plug in. Reception received my parcels and deliveries for me kindly. Thick curtains that help control light for resting. Location is splendid for Leiden centre, walk easily to get all around.

My only complaint would be the pillows.... fantastic is you like deep, soft pillows. Not great for anyone with neck issues. Perhaps memory foam firm pillows should also be available.

The location is ideal, 5 minutes walk to the centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean, everything seems new and the toiletries and scented candles smell divine.

Shower screen was fitted slightly oddly so it was easy to flood the bathroom. Breakfast quite expensive - but the hotel is so close to cafes it's easy to do your own thing instead.

Lovely location just outside the busy centre, but only a few minutes walk back to shops and restaurants. Rooms were light and airy, clean and comfortable. Lovely relaxing stay with all the little extras to make everything easy. Staff could not be more helpful! Everyone we spoke to was able to offer help and suggestions (in fantastic English as well!) We would definitely stay here again! Recommend hiring bikes - reception will sort this for you with ease!
