There seemed to be a bit of noise during the night time, which my friend didn't notice but i had trouble falling asleep while being able to hear a rather loud conversation. The Hotel is very cosy and an old style hotel. The age of the hotel does mean that the halls are very narrow and especially the bathroom was very narrow, i imagine wider travelers may have trouble at this hotel, though it was not a problem at all for us.

The staff was without a doubt the nicest i have ever met at a hotel, already being aware of who we were when we arrived, being extremely accommodating with us making our stay a bit shorter than expected on short notice and even offering a blanket specifically for the dog we brought! (And doggie bags as we left to walk the dog) The breakfast was all around great, though we couldn't find a few of the things described on their menu.

the hotel is well situated in the centre of Rotterdam, the staff is very helpful and polite. parking for the car is excellent in a separate garage across the road of the hotel easy accessible. rooms are pleasant and well fitted out, and a good breakfast is offered in the morning

Shower is a good size but water flow could be stronger and temperature a bit hotter.

They can store your bag after check out. 24hour reception. Comfortable size room and quiet area but still near the city centre. Fridge in the room and supermarket very near by. Friendly efficient and helpful staff.

The room smelled musty if the window was closed (the weather was cold so I closed the window, but then the smell came back).

A little dated perhaps decor wise but didn't make a difference/everything worked and nothing was worn.

Exceeded expectations, very good value for money. It's in a quiet location next to plenty of amenities with various transport links. The room itself (a budget double) was well equipped, comfortable, clean and had a mini fridge. It wasn't a small room, either. Plus the staff agreed to add some birthday banners and balloons to the room for my partner's birthday which was very kind of them. The staff were all nice and helpful.

Great location in walking distance from train station, subway stops, near restaurants and good grocery stores. Provided hot water in our thermoses and the use of the microwave in the kitchen.

The hotel feels like an old fashioned bed and breakfast with very personable and attentive staff. The breakfast offers many choices and is all you can eat. On the breakfast was eggs to order, cereals (oats or sweetened), meats/cheeses, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/rolls, coffee, tea, juice, milk to name a few. The location is perfect—about .6 mile from the train station and 1/2 block from grocery and 1 block from a busy street however the hotel itself is located in a very quiet residential street.

not much to put in here apart from bathroom was very icy cold even with the radiator on, tv didn’t work amazingly but other than that it’s fine if you’re just going to be there for a night :)

location was really good as not far from central station and also doesn’t take long to walk into the centre. Room is basic but would say it’s ideal for a one night stay. Staff were nice and helpful!

Nothing I can think of at the moment. The road in front of the hotel is currently under construction (2024.03.09) but I didn't hear any noise during my stay.

The location is great. It took me about 10 mins walk from the central station to the hotel. The street where it's located was hidden in the back, which is great cause it's quiet. But it's very convenient to reach supermart and restaurants. The hotel is quite old fashioned: with the big physical key which you can leave it at the 24 hour front desk when you go out. Most attractions are within walking distance so I didn't use any public transportation while I was there. The heating works perfectly!! Overall I think it was a nice stay.

My little room felt like home away from home. It was comfortable, old-fashioned but very clean and, for a lone traveler totally suitable. The situation was also good, being within walking distance (ten to fifteen minutes) from main attractions of central Rotterdam. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful.

We got a room on the first floor right by the stairs, by the elevator and above the reception. We could hear everything. Every bell, every new arrival in the middle of the night. We could hear voices, footsteps, in fact, we could understand every word of the people behind the door. When someone arrived at six in the morning to prepare breakfast, he was talking loudly to the person at the reception downstairs. It was really impossible to sleep. The second problem was the active cleaning lady. The room was very cold when we arrived (in January) and we turned on the heater in the evening and it didn't heat much. We left it running all night, the room was still cold. We left around 9am in the morning and returned late in the evening. The heating was stopped every day, so the room was cold again. Once the maid even left the window open. The room was about 15 degrees and really cold.

The hotel is close to the city centre, a short walk from the train station. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Good hotel for an overnight stay. But it had a few shortcomings.

The hallways were a bit too small and the storage for suitcases at the reception was very small, didn't even excisted for my liking. I didn't like that you had to give the key back because they didn't check who they gave the key back to.

The room was very quiet en comfortable. Small but the room had everything we needed. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was excellent with the option of getting fresh eggs (baked or cooked). Many options for breakfast.

The wall is thin and I heard noises from the next room in the middle of the night. The heater turned on at 7:00, but I got up before 6:00, so my room was chilly till 7:00.

The hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean. The location is good, close to a tram stop and shops are around.

Absolutely nothing!!

The location is just fantastic. You can walk to the center of the city. The staff and the hotel owner very nice people and always available for any request. Specially at the breakfast Rosy it’s always available to help you with any special request you might have. I really advise this hotel to anyone coming to the center of Rotterdam without wanting to spend a fortune.
