Eye to details was missing, no hand soap, empty shower gel, missing clothing hangers in the wardrobe etc. As for the apartment, the space was weirdly divided. While there was space, the bedroom still felt cramped.

We only stayed one night, but the room was spacious and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful, it is quiet and peaceful there. The staff is nice and easy going.

The accommodation worked in partnership with a cafe next door and we enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast at the cafe. All the people working at the accommodation and the cafe that we encountered were very helpful and friendly.

our room only had a Velux window and we had to open it because of the heat which of course let the little creatures in with big teeth.

it was set in a lovely place, the restaurant/bar , Jacobs Kitchen was like an oasis for us after a day in the saddle. Food was good also

Perfect location to start some tours. Nice breakfast and a nice place to chill out at evening at the Havencafe. Rooms are very nice equipped and staff is extremely friendly. We also could rent there some bikes. By bike it’s just 15 minutes to city center of Sneek. We will come back 😊.

We stayed at a studio room on the top floor. Everything we needed was in the room including a good view! The room was very clean and comfortable. They didn’t provide breakfast when we were there, but there was a bakery nearby, so there was no problem. We enjoyed staying there very much.

Mosquitoes. Suggest to leave some Mosquito mats available for guests. First night was not pleasant but after getting mosquitoes spray and electric vape devices there were none.

Just driving out of car park and the staff suddenly tell us that they have to inspect our room because we had a dog in it. They didn't say anything to me about this when I asked about checking out 30 minutes earlier. The breakfast was a total ripoff!! €15 for a very poor selection of bread rolls that were hard, some bread, ham and cheese and a drink. The orange juice was not fresh but was from a carton. There was no "hot chocolate". Honestly, the breakfast was NOT good, and was SEVERELY overpriced!

(-) Reception doesn’t exist at check in as it is closed at 1pm. If you have questions or need something, or if something is wrong with a room, there is no one to ask. (-) you have to pay for the towels - ridiculous, as it is not a hostel where you pay €25 per night, the price for the room is high enough to include towels in the room price. (-) not enough of toilet paper, we got 1,5 rolls for 4 people for 2 nights stay - again, no one to ask! The hotel should be embarrassed. (-) My bed sheets had holes and what inly looked like blood stains - other room mates beds were clean but also with holes. Receptionist at check out responded to this “It is busy so we probably didn’t have enough sheets so they used what they had” - are you serious???? What an incompetent hospitality! (-) there were flat dead mosquitos all over the walls and ceilings - oh, come on, just clean them! Gross… (-) there was a screw lying in a bathroom corner behind the door, alongside a previous resident’s hair band - so random, I mean, for real?? (-) unpleasant staff attitude at check out - our feedback was barely received and the receptionist stood out in a middle of my sentence and went to another resident - straight up rude (!) We will not come back ;)

The kitchenette was a bit makeshift - just some appliances stuck in a sort of corridor. Not really a big issue - I was not planning to do too much cooking.

Very nice location - an old farm. Very clean and cosy. Comfortable beds, very functional bathroom, clean and nice.
