The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattresses really need to be changed for something better.

It wasn’t clean unfortunately especially in the bathroom . The sofa looks very dirty and there is some repair to do on the floor and walls.

The location is good, nice neighborhood, shops and restaurants on the corner, everything is nearby (walking distance). The bed is very comfy, had a good night rest (no noise there).

The bathroom is a bit small so after showering water will be everywhere so it would be nicer to have a carpet on the floor or a shower curtain.

The apartment is small but it has all we need. Very nice location, in the center but quiet at night. Clean and comfortable. I may book this accommodation if i come back to Groningen. Great for 3-4 friends or a couple.

We thought we booked a double bed and a single bed and a sofa bed, only got a double bed and sofa bed. The apartment is a bit worn, but the only big minus was the bedsheet of the sofa bed. Either it was permanently stained, or hadn't been washed after previous use. A bit gross, unfortunately. The neighbours in the apartment next door were having a party and we were treated to a couple of hours of loud karaoke. For us this was acceptable, but a guest looking for a quiet stay may want to reconsider. There was no parking available at the apartment, and we were directed to a commercial parking garage a short walk away; this costs about 20 Eur for 24h parking. And finally, more funny than annoying: the apartment was clearly furnished by a tall Dutch person. They key box and towel hook were quite high and we could only use the mirror for checking out the top of our heads, so if you need to eg. apply makeup and are <190 cm tall, better bring your own mirror. :)

Location is absolutely excellent for a city trip, and the apartment is nice. It had been cleaned before we arrived although perhaps not exactly spotless. Amenities were good. On the whole, we were happy with our stay except for a few things.

The owner was very mean, insulting and rude. Sofa was dirty, stuff was old and dirty. the upper room was unsuitable for everyone because of the stairs condition.

I can't think of anything negative about this property. If I had one recommendation it would be for a larger guest towel. A large bath towel is a personal preference.

I stayed here in the beginning of November. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Great location, a quiet street 5mins walk from the main shopping/bars area. Supermarket 2mins away. Groningen is a beautiful city and has much to offer. Typified by the warm Dutch welcoming attitude. The apartment had everything required. Whilst not brand new it was not tired and worn. Everything was clean, working and straightforward. The bed was nice and comfy and there was an abundance of hot water for showers and washing up. Getting the keys was simply and straightforward and my host made it seamlessly easy. I had noted some other reviews complaining about the stairs to the bedroom. This is Holland. In older properties all the stairs are the same. I wasn't expecting anything else and the novelty factor just made for an interesting inclusion in my description to friends. In short, a completely positive experience and I have already asked the owner for vacant diary dates to rebook.

The owner was very rude. On the phone, I didn't understand for the first time which room it was and which key to put back in the key locker. This is because his accent in English is quite bad. He started yelling, insulting, I told him to calm down so that I could understand what I had to do. This hardly happened. It happened at check-in. The heating work only the first night. 3 days it was very cold.

The apartment was very dirty.. we had to call somebody to get the key and fix the heater (no warm water at the beginning) but they were not super friendly.

There were no wardrobes or clothes hanging facilities in the bedroom so we had keep our clothes in our cases. A couple of hand towels would have been good also.

The facilities were clean and modern and the location is perfect.
