Chalet on a great campsite, with decent living area, but some things to be aware of.
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Three-Bedroom Chalet
    • Stayed 3 nights

    - Be aware that this is a private chalet let. It is not one of the campsite provided holiday chalets. - Be aware that bed linen and towels are not included. This has to be arranged and hired via the campsite reception. It cost us an additional €60 for 3 nights for linen and towel hire. We did have some difficulties obtaining linen and towels, but that was quickly remedied by Miranda. - Although the living areas were relatively spacious, the bedrooms, toilet, and bathroom are very cramped. Four doors are very close together, and care needs to be taken if 2 doors are open at once, as they can jam. The boiler door is permanently open, as the boiler is larger than the cupboard. - Main bedroom is small, but does have wardrobe storage. Walkway around the bed is very tight. - The bunkbed bedroom is very very tight, as the beds impede normal access to the room. Some might not be able to squeeze into the room, so this is definitely a room for small kids. - The main entrance to the chalet has a very high step. The other entrance is via a zipped 'tent' area and a more accessible door. - I was suffering from sciatica during our stay. It was not easy to manoeuvre in the bedrooms or to use the high step entrance, so I would not recommend this for anyone who has walking challenges. - Although functionally fine, the overall condition of the chalet could do with a refresh. - Overall, we did enjoy our stay, but I think next time we would probably rent a chalet directly from TerSpegelt. Including linen hire, we paid €510 for 3 nights, whereas TerSpegelt chalets were a good bit cheaper (although with smaller living areas).

    - TerSpegelt campsite was superb - Good supermarket near chalet - Great facilities for families - indoor swimming area, playparks - Spacious living area in chalet with open plan kitchen and sitting area - Awning type lounge / dining area - better for warm weather - Comfortable table / chairs on an outdoor patio - Washing machine / dryer in separate shed. - Kitchen is fine for cooking meals, with kettle, filter coffee maker, toaster, stove, and multi microwave oven.
