Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

EstoniaOur room was on the inner side of the building with very small "inner yard" (less than 2m width i think) behind the windows, which was not a problem by itself, but we had really poor telephone connection because of that.
Luggage storage, free coffee 24h at reception and even some snacks at arrival. Staff was friendly, room was nice and clean and had everything we needed. Shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers. Fridge, stove, tea, cooking equipment. Supermarket across the street. Wifi worked very well!

The hotel is great, close to Amstel station, bus stop 2 min from the hotel, perfect location since we traveled for work and had to go daily to the RAI. It's quiet, clean has kitchen amenities and supplies. Iron and safe in the room, comforable beds.

The area was a little out of the way of the hustle and bustle but not too far with close transport links within walking distance and a Lidl close by staff great rooms clean and modern

AustriaThe kitchen was missing in some other room types (the boutique rooms for instance). It would be great if all the rooms had the kitchen. Also the restaurant was not yet functioning.
I especially liked the fact that in some rooms (frenchy twin for instance) there was a kitchen with reasonable equipment including stove. Also all the other things in the room were great. There was an opportunity to borrow the bike (for money). The position of the hotel is great, close to a metro station and Science Park. The hotel employees were very kind. They helped me to upgrade a room when my colleague wanted to join after I already booked it only for myself. This was done in spite of booking's failure to do the same thing (for no valid reason).

Amazing hotel, lovely rooms, such a friendly team who made our stay so special - it was Birthday while we stayed and I cam back to balloons and chocolate from the hotel. We love walking across cities so this location was perfect for us with plenty to see but it is on the outskirts of the main city giving you a much calmer space to enjoy Amsterdam and wander in at a slow pace / make use of the excellent public transport.

A great location near to the metro station in a quiet neighbourhood. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. The premium room was really spacious. The kitchenette was super clean and very useful together with the microwave. We also receive some complimentary breakfast package at our arrival which was super nice. The coffee machine by the reception is a very nice touch!
