This is a little far from canal area but if you don’t mind a 30-45 minute walk or an Uber ride then this is gold! Very quiet neighborhood.

This was a great choice! We were forced to move from another hotel and they were able to accommodate us at last second. The room was very clean and modern. The breakfast was affordable and amazing! Very quiet neighborhood and the hotel is remodeled from what looks like an old church which was really cool! Would definitely stay here again.

CHR is conveniently located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood with easy access to all transport links, local shops, parks and hospital. It exceeded our expectations for everything and is wheelchair accessible. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, taking care of our every need. Nothing is too much trouble for reception, cleaning or breakfast staff. There is a great system to store luggage securely for early arrivals. Our room was spacious, spotless and well equipped with a kitchen, very comfy beds and quality linen changed regularly. The reasonably priced breakfast was delicious with plenty of beautifully cooked options. We have thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and will definitely be back.

The receptionist, on our arrival, said that we had booked two rooms and asked us to pay for the room we did not reserve. Only when I showed her our Booking.com payment receipt did she concede that there had been an error.

Breakfast was good value for money. The lady overseeing the patrons at breakfast was especially helpful, pleasant and courteous.

They should consider to change the pan. It’s too big for the stove and take a long time to cook sth in this.

The room is new and bright. The new breakfast room looks nice but we didn’t have time to try breakfast this time.

We really liked the hotel, the room was clean, roomy and equipped with everything that you would need. The staff were friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast, the restaurant was so pretty!

The staff was very friend and helpful. The storage room for our luggages was a lifesaver as we were able to leave our luggage there when we arrive and go exploring and did the same on our last day after checking out. The room truly exceeded out expectations as it was very modern and had everything we needed and more. The restaurant was still under work, but we were provided with a bad of goodies which included fruit, butter, jam and different cakes and bread.

This hotel is located in an old church that was renovated. The hotel is away from Central Amsterdam in a quiet neighborhood which we loved. We really felt like we were residents of Amsterdam. The rooms were large and clean. A new breakfast buffet was recently added so we started each day with a great breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They showed us how to get to the tram so we could explore Amsterdam.

It was farther away from city center than I would of liked . After Midnight it becomes more difficult to travel to the hotel by public transportation

Thank you for a wonderful staying in your hotel! The hotel is 10 minutes from the subway which is very convenient to reach the city centre. There are also grocery shops nearby. All hotel staff was very helpful and kind. We leaved our luggage before the check-in and after check-out without any problems. The room was big, cozy and very tidy. We had all we needed, even dishes and glasses. We highly recommend hotel breakfast, you may pay for the separately (12,4 euro per a person). While checking out the receptionist gave us a present, it was so nice. Amsterdam is amazing and this hotel was our best choice to enjoy this city even more.

The room was very clean and had everything you need for a stay there. The location is not close to the center but there are many buses and trams nearby, so it’s not difficult to plan trips all over the city. We were most excited about the breakfast, a new addition to the hotel, and we were not disappointed-they had a great selection of desserts, cheeses and pastries.

Firstly, the staff was very nice; they attended to all our questions with ease and just made us feel very welcome. We stayed in a superior room, which was very spacious, and the small kitchen corner was a great bonus. We ended up cooking all our dinners at the hotel because it was much more comfortable to do so and relax after a long day in the city. There was a small supermarket just around the corner that had everything we needed. Since it was a new hotel, everything was in good condition, the beds were comfortable (including the sofa bed), and well, everything was still new, without any noticeable wear and tear. The breakfast had all the usual "stations," everything was fresh and tasty. The location was ok too, it was quite easy to navigate with public transport and the hotel also had rental bikes with a reasonable rate (city rentals are usually a bit higher). The hotel is a bit away from the city centre but the tram, bus and train stops are all with 5 minutes walk. Once on the tram its about 15-20 minutes to the centre. The trade off is price against the distance from the centre

The staff were a delight from our arrival to departure. Welcoming, friendly & always able to help & answer questions. The room was modern, spacious, clean & comfortable. Well equipped kitchenette with a fridge, microwave & induction hobs. Coming back knowing the wine was chilling was great! There's a Lidl less than two minutes walk away, which is handy for snacks & drinks The breakfast buffet was great value, hot and cold food, with good variety, quantity & quality The area feels pleasant & safe Good value for money & I'd recommend staying

Located in a very quiet area, just a few minutes walking distance from Amstel metro station. 4 stops from the city centre, delicious buffet breakfast and supermarket just around the corner. Very friendly and helpful staff. They also sent us all the essential and helpful informations before arriving to the hotel. Spotless clean, powerful shower and a very comfortable bed.

Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for our 4 night break. We didnt have breakfast on this occasion but it looked very good.Only a 10 minute walk to the train/metro.
