The location is reasonably good, but I had to walk a long way one night. There were some minor problems with the room, for example there was no place to put a towel near the shower. Also, the refrigerator in the room was super loud and had no switch to turn it off.

Rooms were equipped with everything necessery, and were clean.

More expensive than we would be hoping for, but Amsterdam is very expensive in general, so it is not a problem of the hotel.

Far from the center, but we like to walk so we never took a bus or a train and for us this was an advantage. Very comfortable room, perfect breakfast, very helpful staff, quiet area, could rent a bike (a lot of parks nearby). Supermarket is in 1 min walk from the building. And you have a kitchenette. Matrasses are awesome. Tiny balcony (for smokers it matters). Lift. Definitely recommend.

It was a long way to get to the lobby from my room, but not a big problem. The front door needs work. The front walk way needs an awning. I arrived in the pouring rain and the door was slow to open. I did not realize it was an automatic door, so as I pulled on it to get inside from the rain, the front desk person yelled at me for doing so. That was the only blip in my stay. I was disappointed there was no dance studio as it is listed in the hotel's promotional pieces.

The breakfast was expansive and delicious. The dining room was a bit cold but it was lovely. I wish it had been open for afternoon tea or wine. I liked staying in the residential area. It was a nice 10 minute walk to the tram, 15 minutes to the train station, and about 3 minutes to a major bus line. The bowl of stroopwaffles in the lobby were much appreciated! Also, a LIDL across the street made for convenient grocery shopping.

This is a little far from canal area but if you don’t mind a 30-45 minute walk or an Uber ride then this is gold! Very quiet neighborhood.

This was a great choice! We were forced to move from another hotel and they were able to accommodate us at last second. The room was very clean and modern. The breakfast was affordable and amazing! Very quiet neighborhood and the hotel is remodeled from what looks like an old church which was really cool! Would definitely stay here again.

CHR is conveniently located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood with easy access to all transport links, local shops, parks and hospital. It exceeded our expectations for everything and is wheelchair accessible. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, taking care of our every need. Nothing is too much trouble for reception, cleaning or breakfast staff. There is a great system to store luggage securely for early arrivals. Our room was spacious, spotless and well equipped with a kitchen, very comfy beds and quality linen changed regularly. The reasonably priced breakfast was delicious with plenty of beautifully cooked options. We have thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and will definitely be back.

The receptionist, on our arrival, said that we had booked two rooms and asked us to pay for the room we did not reserve. Only when I showed her our Booking.com payment receipt did she concede that there had been an error.

Breakfast was good value for money. The lady overseeing the patrons at breakfast was especially helpful, pleasant and courteous.

They should consider to change the pan. It’s too big for the stove and take a long time to cook sth in this.
