This hotel is totally unique in the customer experience it offers . From the types of jam that I had never seen before to the high tech in-room shower this was unlike any hotel I have been to before ……and I loved it 😍

Easy checkin with very friendly staff. Open bar/restaurant with food 24/7. Rooms were spacious enough for this kind of stay with a very comfortable king square sized bed. Lights, TV, blinds and climate are controlled via ipad in each room. There's also built in Casting to streaming from your devices to the TV which worked well. Climate changes work over time and are non-intrusive (no direct air blowing on you)

To crawl over each other to get out the bed. For us it wasn't an option to lay with your head at the window site.

If you have to catch a flight in the middle of the night or very early in the morning it's perfect.

This hotel has a very young and cheeky character. Checking in- and out is self-service, which might not be in every one's taste, but to the introvert that is excellent: No need to talk to strange people, but if you need help, there is always a friendly face around. Interestingly, the default language in this hotel is not Dutch. Though this is no obstacle to a South African, it did feel like I was briefly transported out of The Netherlands for that one evening. Food and a good beer can be ordered right in the main lobby area. Other than that: It is a small room in a hotel close to the airport. You come here for the comfort of easily catching a plane the next day, and it excels at this. Compared to other hotels close to the airport, which I have used in the past, this one is perfect if you are traveling a little heavy, that is, you have a big suitcase. The other hotels at the airport are on the other side of security, and requires a few back-and-forth iterations to check baggage the next day, including an additional trip through airport security. This hotel is only a few hundred meters from the Airport, and does away with the need for luggage acrobatics.

Tiny rooms. Would not stay here but one night.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. The rooms are extremely tiny, but if you have an early morning flight it is the easiest to walk right into the airport for an early start. We stayed one night because we needed somewhere that was close to the airport for function and not luxury for a quick night to transfer for our early flight out.

Clean, comfortable, very quiet and elegant. Big windows with great light control. Well designed bathroom. Staying here made my flight connections easy and the hotel was very accessible. The Bar/cafe had a good selection.

We were unable to try their breakfast but I’m sure it’s great as well! I would have enjoyed a secure Internet but that’s the only Karen thing I can find. Rest was excellent!

We decided to change our 1 night stay in Schiphol from Sheraton to CitizenM and it was 100% worth it. Not only is this hotel extremely up to date, it is also quite self explanatory and designed incredibly efficiently and intuitively. Interactions with their staff were simply outstanding and employees make sure you feel at home and at ease. The focus in this hotel is clearly and really about the guest and as a couple that is on the spectrum , we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are small but cute, quiet and clean. We walked 2 minutes to the airport (which is 4 minutes for straight people) and the friendly barista made our morning with a fantastic coffee. Absolut highlights were their check in and check out procedure, the focus mode you can set in the room and the smart system.

It is still a bit far away from the airport, as in if you have a big luggage, it will be difficult to reach the airport on foot.
