Terrace with view of corridor, very looked upon so didn’t end up using it. Shower water goes everywhere.

Clean, spacious, well equipped rooms. Great location convenient to city centre transport. Very friendly staff.

Well located. Out of the Centre hassle yet very well connected with public transportation. Also the airport is easily connected with buses that are covered by the daily passes. Enough space and well separated even though it was a full open space which was clearly specified.

We would stay here again. Desk personnel consistently pleasant and helpful from check in through check out. Our room was as promised, including equipped kitchen area. A pleasant surprise was the heated floors. "Cityden" is a short walk to the stops for Tram 7 -- one of the stops is within eyesight of a local police station. We felt safe in the area. Tram 7 is handy for reaching the canal rings (consider the "Leidseplain" stop), the "Museum District" and the "Plantage area (which is pleasant and includes many interesting tourist attractions.) Cityden itself is Not in a tourist area; a plus if one wants to see a different part of Amsterdam; not a plus if one wants only to see the tourist areas. A good area for grocery shopping, a nearby supermarket, some small food stores and an Aldis along the Tram 7 route. Many small restaurants/coffee shops, etc in the area; we did not have an opportunity to visit, but some recommended Turkish restaurants in the area. To some the Cityden rooms may seem a little spartan, but we found everything to be clean. There are pay washer dryers that work. However, like dryers in laundromats in many places, one may need to buy/run an extra cycle or two. Tip, for the washers, there is a free spin cycle, but it is not automatic and one needs to start it after the initial wash cycle. We found lodgings in Amsterdam to be a little expensive, but we found Cityden to be a reasonable value. I forget the exact amount we paid, but ride share from Cityden to the train station was affordable.

For kitchen, they should provide some basic dressing such as sugar, salt, oil, etc.

Nice and attentive staff, large apartments, overall good conditions, even though its location is quite far away from the city centre, there is a tram stop within 5 mins walking.

We were smoking near the door, one of the staff was not friendly in his tone when asked not to smoke, although there is no clear singe at least in english

For 16.50EUR breakfast (pre-booked online, 18.50EUR at the property) a menu could have been a bit better with wider selection of food and beverages. On Saturday morning we had to leave early and breakfasts were only starting at 8AM so we asked the property to prepare some sandwiches for takeaway. To keep it short, they made us a bunch of dry and not tasty sandwiches. In my opinion sandwiches for that money could have and should have been done much, much better than that.

Room was nice, beds were comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful, even though some errors were made made with our prepaid breakfast, however everything was solved promptly. Location was good, easy access to the public transport made it pretty convenient.

Hmmm I didnt know breakfast was inlcuded, the room was nice but smaller than I expected, the bed was very large for the space that it was placed in. The sheets were not properly placed and the were pulled from the bed while we were sleeeping. The hand soap/ body wash smelled great, everything was clean and nice. The towels could haven been larger. The location is fine for those looking to save a little bit on their trip to amsterdam without sacrificing a nice place to stay.

The linen in our room was dirty. We asked for new sheets and those were dirty as well. Cleanliness was overall lacking and the oven in our apartment didn’t work

The shower screen is too small, letting a lot of water out onto the bathroom floor. Pillows were uncomfortable, but that’s subjective.

The Studio XL was a great stay. Fun location, spacious and accommodating staff. We arrived early and were allowed to check in without any hassle. The kitchenette was very useful, allowing us to stay in if we wanted and cook. The balcony was a lovely bonus too, a sun trap in the evening.

The bedsheets should be fitted especially for infants and babies. The apartment lacks doors and separate light switches for each area.

The location of the property and the apartment had living room and kitchen. The bathrooms were clean and tidy.
