Patient d for an upgrade to a triple room but the recommended ds didn’t reflect the payment. The manager resolved the issue quickly but it would have been unfortunate if there was no triple room available.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Large triple room. Powerful shower head. Friendly reception staff.

Depending of what side of the hotel your room is on you might hear some outside noise in the evening, but it didn’t last very long.

The room was lovely, very well decorated and the hotel provides a couple of complimentary snacks and drinks which was a nice surprise. The double room was large enough for me, not a ton of storage but wasn’t an issue. You also get a free glass of champagne at check-in if you want it :) I liked the breakfast, lots of typical options like eggs, potatoes, toast, oatmeal, fruits etc. Location is really fun if you like to be near a park, it’s literally inside of Westerpark so super convenient.

There was some noise from nearby bars and locals at the weekend. Also the room was a bit stuffy without the windows open and there were quite a few mosquitoes. The pillows were a bit too soft and squishy.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right next to the park and close to attractions such as Fabrique des Lumieres. The building is very nice and has a lovely foyer with small shop. Also some really good restaurants in the surrounding neighbourhood. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was a good size and also had a cosy feel to it with a hyggekrog at the window. The bed was comfy.

I didn't like when asked to extend stay at the hotel but tariff was double, for same room. So I moved to Conscious Vondelpark. Not the same level, but rather good.

It's a nice place, great view, excellent installations. Even more, I had booked a room not available when I arrived to the hotel, but was moved to a better one. Kindle and helpful staff. And a great welcome kit: an special beer drink, tees, coffee and cereal bar.

The nightstand table lights were not dimmable and too harsh for my taste. Overall, the lighting could benefit from a warmer light source since the current light bulbs are rather cold which reduces the atmosphere.

The staff of the hotel was very friendly, I felt completely at ease as a transgender person staying at the hotel. My room was very spacious and had nice views of the park. The facilities of the hotel were top notch and I especially appreciated the box of high quality chocolates waiting for me on my bed.

The windows (4 in total) had most likely not been washed in months and were filthy, ruining the view outside. 1 of the 4 electric shades/curtains was not working. Not a major faux pas since it was an attic room, so difficult to look into from the outside, but still an oversight.

We stayed at this hotel because of a concert we were attending at the Westergasfabriek. Being located close to the concert venue and in Amsterdam, we knew it would be expensive. We were pleasantly welcomed by staff and given a glass of prosecco. It was a nice touch. The room itself was what we expected and matched the photos on Booking. The bed was very comfy. The hotel itself offers a nice 24-hour shop with drinks and snacks. They also make great coffee for you. You can take it with you on a pleasant stroll through the park. Breakfast was varied enough to satisfy any traveler. The nearby Q-Park parking lot offers good daily deals if you travel by car.

The shower was not functioning well. At the end of our stay, we informed the personnel in charge and despite the fact that we had trouble showering during 4 days he only offered us a coffee that we gently refused. It seems that for a night at, at least 150 euros, the idea would have been to make a better gesture. Disappointing.

The vegetarian breakfast didn’t appeal to all our party but I thought it was delicious!

Really friendly staff, good location out of the city but walkable and the rooms were full of character.
