Very comfortable bed. Everything I needed in the room. Reasonably quiet on top floor. Miserable outlook at rear but I wasn’t there for the view! No staff on site at the hotel. All digital which worked. The breakfast at Ann & Max cafe was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Delightful place.

Nice hotel in a great location. Hotel is on a pedestrian street and is in close walking distance to the canals with plenty bars and restaurants. Steep staircase to get up to the rooms, so something to bear in mind if you have a big bag.

One standout highlight for me was the exceptional breakfast experience at Anne & Max. The breakfast, cooked fresh and served with a smile, stands out as one of the best I've ever had at a hotel. This alone makes a stay at Cosy Pillow memorable. Given the overall positive experience, I am looking forward to booking a night at Cosy Pillow on my next visit to Utrecht.

Missed the top up of coffee creamer, washing wine glasses and shower gel. Getting larger travel bags up the stairs takes some energy but is worth it.

Loved the fact that the room was located right in the center of town which was brilliant. Bed was comfortable, contact with staff upon checking in was great, they were so friendly and helpful, leaving our bags tucked away safely in the shop whilst we toured around town prior to check in time was absolutely no problem for them. Really enjoyed the experience.

Unfortunately no lift and the stairs are really steady if u have a big luggage you will have a difficulty if you are staying in 2nd or 3rd floor. The church bells are really loud if you have light sleep you may not be able to go back to sleep

The room was much smaller than it looks. It was dusty when we arrived and not cleaned properly during our stay although they changed the towels so someone was in the room. The stairs are incredibly tight and steep … be careful

Because there is no lift, it was quite a big task for me to lift the luggage to the third  floor.

The property's staff were courteous and well-behaved and I had a short walk to all of the outlets for shopping and the train station because of the hotel's convenient location.

The soundproofing wasn't great but the hotel provide earplugs. The church bells do go off during the night (not the hotel's fault!) but we barely heard them and neither me, nor my husband could hear them with the earplugs in. There was some noise from above us and in the corridor but if we were to stay again (I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I were visiting Utrecht again!) then I'd ask for a room higher up.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, beautiful large room, with great facilities. We had read the reviews so knew that you had to check in at the back of the store under the hotel - not immediately obvious but if you know, checking in is super easy, and the staff are so nice. We arrived a little early but our room was ready so we were able to access the room an hour early, which was terrific. If your room isn't ready they are happy to store your bags for you so that was great. We were also given an emergency contact number, as there is not a 24 hour reception, which we did not need to use, but was a great relief to know just in case!

Steep stairs (3 flights of stairs). Something happened and could not get into the hotel at 10 pm because of a communication problem. The next day it was solved but had to look for somewhere to stay

Check-in process after 6pm was a little strange - the codes to open the doors get sent by WhatsApp. I was looking for them in my e-mails desparately and even ended up calling booking.com for help. After 6pm it's impossible to reach the hotel to ask for help with check-in, even the booking.com agent couldn't reach them.

Nice boutique hotel in the middle of the city, perfect for a short trip to Utrecht.
